Payton played in 12 games and rushed for 500+ yards in 87. 4 TDs, but Topps didn't issue a card for him other than the record breaker one. I don't quite understand that one either. Maybe someone knows the reasoning for this. | ||
I am kind of puzzled as to why Walter Payton has a Record Breakers card in tis set,but not a regular one.If he had only maybe played in just a couple of games during the previous season,I could see why maybe he would not be included,even though he retired after the 1987 season,but he played in 12 games total during the 1987 season,and finished with 146 carries for 533 yards with 4 touchdowns as well.Does anyone one else in here have any theories as to why he was not given a regular card? | ||
