I really like this set as well. I agree with most of what petrosian904 said about the set. I would only add that the die cut subset is one the most unique subsets at the time and overall. And the package is awesome as I have one saved. It’s an open pack, but it’s a beauty. A little noisy the design might be, but it has the upper deck quality in color, holo, photos, and information bio with several years stats to go with just the right amount of gloss on the card.

A lot of people in the card community hate this base set, but I actually like it. Sure, it has that busy 90s look but it pulls it off in the end. Its also a very small set that is easy to put together. People wanted more as the wrapper is one of the best ones of the year, so they expected all cards in the pack would be as nice as the xpotential dimensional cards which are the best part of the set. For the most part the autos are of backups and not numbered.
