Set: 2009 Donruss Gridiron Gear - Silver O's

Card: #19 Chris Cooley

“ I usually don't like the artsy backgrounds, but this card looks pretty cool. The back isn't bad except for Panini's fear of putting full year by year stats. I give it a thumbs up. ” -muskie027

“ I like that it's serially numbered. I don't understand what the O is for. Might be due to my utter lack of knowledge on football. I think that this concept has come up as Card of the Day in the past, and I don't remember the reason. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I'm not real sure what the shapes in the background are supposed to be. Or why there is a random O on the card. Are they spelling Cooley? ” -switzr1

“ When good cards go bad. If they had done a few things differently this would be a great card but alas, they cut off both of his legs then the back they used the same photo on the front and back and just one year of stats. If they had zoomed out just a tad more and gotten his whole body in the card and eliminated the picture on the back and put stats instead it would be a 9 or 10. As it stands I would give it a 7. ” -davidhandberry

“ People forget how good Cooley was back in the '00s. A true pass-catching threat & playmaker at TE. He was ahead of his time! ” -mkaz80

“ SAME PHOTO FRONT AND BACK>>>>>>> uggggh. not a fan of the design either. ” -parsley24

“ Coooooooley! Donruss! Gridiron Gear! REDSKINS! What's not to like. Oh it's one of those parallel "O" cards along with the "X" cards that the only difference was the X or O symbol in the corner and if it was silver, or gold, or blue or green or pink with purple polka-dots or striped or raised in relief or scratched off or, or or... Oops I got carried away there. Yeah I like the card. I probably have it or at least a few of the base card. ” -captkirk42

“ For some reason my furst impression is that he has run through some old-time saloon doors. ” -John Kerry

“ Same photo on both sides? That's dumb. A card set named "Gridiron Gear" that doesn't have game-used jerseys or something? That's dumb. An insert set named "Silver O's"? Well, there actually is a silver "O" on the card, so that one works out. I don't know why there is one, but there is. ” -kents_stuff

“ This is a nice action/computer generated background. I like it! Wish the name was more readable, though. ” -WallyCub
