Set: 1996 Panini Stickers (Rate)

Card: #75 Bernard Gilkey

“ I like the green border...my favorite color. Don't see many places where the . is included in NY. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I really liked the front design and then...and then I looked at the back and my heart sank. Stickers, while I keep them if I get them (Braves players) I don't buy them intentionally. If some end up in a box of random cards or packs of regular cards (Triple Play) I keep the Braves but worry about when/if they will stick to another card. ” -davidhandberry

“ I once loved Panini. They put more thought into these old stickers back in the day, then they put into there Flawless line today. ” -YoRicha

“ This brings back awesome memories of when I used to do sticker albums with my dad. No better activity than this to spend quality time with kids.Never met a sticker i didn't like! ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ This card looks like a meme. ” -parsley24

“ Nice sticker. Is it wrong for me to prefer when Panini does stickers than when they do cards? ” -captkirk42

“ The Mets won this trade. Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the New York Mets for Yudith Ozorio (minors), Erik Hiljus and Eric Ludwick. Only Ludwick ever played for the Cards, amassing an ERA of 9.00 in 6 appearances. ” -vanstryland

“ Yay! A Cardinal! (sort of, this probably counts as a card for the Mets with the traded tag on the top)... ” -Brimose

“ I struggle calling sticker album stickers cards. Maybe it's just me. ” -muskie027

“ I hate the fact that this is considered a Mets card. ” -RoyalChief

Set: 1984 Topps - Tiffany (Rate)

Card: #235 Matt Young

“ Shouldn't there be words on his jersey? Maybe they didn't have one, I don't know baseball but this just strikes me as unusual. At least he looks happy to be there. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The good ol' days. When Topps had one parallel. Looked up a player yesterday, he had one card in his career but there were 46 parallels. ” -davidhandberry

“ Nice card. We've had Tiffany versions before. They are like the regular flagship set except they have a glossy finish on the front and the back cardboard stock is usually bleached white not the standard non-bleached cardboard. Of course in less than 10 years time (about 8) Topps would be using the thinner bleached white cardstock instead of their standard unbleached cardboard stock. ” -captkirk42

“ loved the design. one of my alltime favorites. Working on completing this set now.... Plus its a mariner. Go matt young ” -parsley24

“ Look how young Matt was, ok sorry! Imagine a premium brand from 1984, this was it. Too bad imagination wasn't available at Topps back then and now hmm well ... ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ Nice card ” -cjjt

“ Never got into the Tiffany thing. Never saw the point. One of the first same size parallels? ” -NJDevils

“ Love this set ” -RoyalChief

“ The 1984 Topps design is one of my favorites. ” -muskie027

Set: 1972 Brooke Bond Prehistoric Animals (Rate)

Card: #21 Hypsilophodon

“ So at first I was like a neat looking dinosaur card, then I looked up the actual dinosaur and this looks nothing like the actual dinosaur. It looks like a 10 years old's painting of a dinosaur and not necessarily this dinosaur. It walked hunched over, not erect like this one, it had a beak, and the tail was raised, not on the ground. Those are just the main differences I can see immediately. ” -davidhandberry

“ Cool. Who doesn't like dinosaurs? I can't read the back but my eyesight is awful, I'm glad we now have the ability to enlarge scans that are posted. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I was interested in dinosaurs a few years before I found baseball cards. ” -volbox

“ I absolutely love tobacco size cards, dinosaur cards not so much. ” -Gunny

“ Pretty cool cards. ” -parsley24

“ I like this a lot. Not familiar with Brooke Bond cards but would like to learn more. ” -NJDevils

“ Ah the Jurassic era of trading cards. LOL. Nice looking dinosaur card. ” -captkirk42

“ Wonderful! I want an autographed version! ” -cjjt

“ I love this and wish there were more sets like this that were affordable. Simple, basic and something pretty neat to collect. I'd collect most sets that fit that bill. ” -muskie027

Set: 2000 Ultra WNBA (Rate)

Card: #22 Latasha Byears

“ Is this the first WNBA card of the day? Uses the same design as 1999-00 Ultra NBA on the front, but a totally unique design on the back. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I have to say I like just about everything about this card. The front has a great action shot. The back is great. I love the WNBA getting some attention. I try to say something nice and something negative about every card. I can't find anything about this card that I don't like. ” -davidhandberry

“ I need to get some of these, nice clean design, superb in-game action shot, and all the necessities front and back are there! ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ I thought this was a pretty solid set. ” -jupiterhill

“ WNBA!!!! ” -cjjt

“ WNBA RCOTD! Awesome to see something different. I was excited to see Donruss release a WNBA set this year. My daughters want to collect and it is nice to show them some of the best athletes in the world that are also female so they can feel a part of the hobby! ” -muskie027

“ I was going to write this off as just another Basketball Ultra set but then noticed it was WNBA which doesn't get as much coverage as NBA stuff. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2012-13 Panini Contenders - Legendary Contenders (Rate)

Card: #50 Doug Collins

“ Nice looking front but the text is too small and especially the text at the bottom is lost with dark text on a dark background. Printshop 101, light text on dark background, dark text on light background. The back with one decision goes from very good, to very bad. We all know what it is and I feel bad having to repeat myself but using the same image for the front and back is just laziness or cheapness. ” -davidhandberry

“ This is a very herky-jerky card. (Seriously, he loved that phrase when he was a tv broadcaster!) One of the retired players you don't see as often. Became a coach after playing and coached the Bulls in Jordan's early days and the Wizards in the Jordan era. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Cool retro shot! Some career stats on the back would have been nice. Clean design on the front just missing position. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ love it. ” -parsley24

“ Nice Contenders card. Much different design than normal. I like it. Don't know much about the player. Back is just Eeeh. ” -captkirk42

Set: 1993 Triple Play (Rate)

Card: #161 Ramon Martinez

“ Well, sometimes when I am working with my scans, the names are so small I have no idea which letter file to move a card to until I bring it up full screen. That would certainly not be the case here! In all my years of being on this website, and reading the card blogs, I don't think I've ever seen this design before. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I loved Triple Play. Affordable for a kid on a budget. I couldn't always convince my parents to pick up a full price Topps or Donruss pack and rarely could get Ultra or Stadium Club but Triple Play or Collector's Choice I could usually get. ” -davidhandberry

“ Nice card. Simple and to the point. Good photo on the back too. My only complaints are I wish the background on the front image could have some level of focus and full stats on the back. ” -chvlDm

“ It's like the card companies join forces to say we refuse to offer collectors any mint cards , black bordering should never exist as it chips and frays too easily, just not up to par like Ramon wasn't to his Bro Pedro. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ a parallel set not needed.... ” -parsley24

“ I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I have always been a fan of this design. The back lacks the "full stats" most love, but I think the large profile pick and typographical info more than makes up for it. ” -rmpaq5

“ One of those 1990s sets that I hated the first time I saw them but in recent years have appreciated them. At one time recently I may have been tempted to think about chasing the set. These are much better than the more recent cartoon Triple Play sets. ” -captkirk42

“ Prefer this version of Triple Play over the more modern cartoon like releases. ” -rmitchell6700

“ Triple Play was nice. Good card! ” -RoyalChief

“ Triple Play was a fun, affordable and -- at least in terms of the '93 release -- nice looking product. ” -mkaz80

“ I vaguely remember Triple Play, but the card doesn't look familiar. It isn't bad, but it isn't great. ” -muskie027

Set: 2002-03 O-Pee-Chee (Rate)

Card: #301 Petr Schastlivy

“ Bold choice to go with an eggplant colored border. I have to admit, the Senators have my favorite logo in sports. Both this one and the current one. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ An interesting OPC set, as it was produced by Topps at the time. Upper Deck would soon have full control though. ” -Mscott713

“ Overall very nice front, wish they hadn't put the grey part under the name, silver on maroon would have popped, silver on grey is hard to see. The same with the silver OPC logo in the corner, hard to see. The back is near perfection. I wish they had taken his helmet off but you can still see his face pretty clearly so that is a minor issue. ” -davidhandberry

“ Great front, great back, not so great prospect for the NHL but decent prospect for the KHL. ” -Gunny

“ not too bad of a card. i need more contrast in the name from the background. ” -parsley24

“ NIce OPC hockey card. Looks a lot like a Bowman card, glad they don't do that crazy code numbering/lettering that Bowman does. ” -captkirk42

“ The back of that card is everything a sports card should aspire to be. ” -mkaz80

“ Nice card. I like the look of it. ” -cjjt

Set: 2015 Topps - 60th Anniversary 5x7 (Rate)

Card: #T60-JW J.J. Watt

“ Nice throwback design. Even though it's just a cutout of the player, it works. I actually have an example of the 1968 set this is based on, kind of unusual as I'm not a football collector by any means. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ When doesn't Topps celebrate an anniversary? ” -ShoTime

“ Also...J.J. Watt sounds like a really good person, I've heard about some of the charity work he's done. No matter what he does on the field, it sounds like he's a winner. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Superb over-sized card and serial #'d too!(of a future HOFer) Always a challenge to keep any card mint even more so for bigger cards. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ Love this design on these cards on the front. The back goes back to the gross topps design from modern. ” -parsley24

“ Like these retro cards, but when Topps does this anniversary thing and makes the back a special ad for the anniversary instead of making a retro back I don't like them. Good player though. ” -captkirk42

“ nice throwback, to bad jj cant stay healthy ” -Thunderfoot

“ J.J. Watt is a TANK ” -Tylergallo

“ I love the design, though I would have preferred that Topps left the action shot background behind him instead of the blue background. The back of the card is the typical tribute style card that I don't really care about but I understand why it is used. ” -Corky

“ Scary to think how good he would be if he never got hurt. A true great even with the injuries. ” -muskie027

Set: 2015 Upper Deck Marvel Ant-Man (Rate)

Card: #12 Darren leads his guests to the Future's Vault...

“ The card's a little lackluster but the Ant-Man movies are great. The sequel is actually better than the original. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I don't collect movie/tv cards and one of the big reasons is cards like this that have no action and no big plot points. The front is bland, the back is awful. ” -davidhandberry

“ Nice to see Upper Deck taking care of good ol' Fleer's Marvel , too bad non-sports can't rely on any athletic skills to boost values. ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ I collected the basketball version from 1997-98. Completed the series 1 set and recently sold it. Remember some cool inserts and parallels. Only bought a few packs of the baseball however as this came out around when I quit collecting for awhile. ” -Sinnycool

“ One of mine and Mrs Gunny's fave Marvel movie. I enjoyed the card set as well. Nice base set and some cool inserts that paid tribute to the comic book origins. ” -Gunny

“ OK Non-Sport. At first I thought this was Vin Diesel but it isn't. ” -captkirk42

Set: 1994 Power (Rate)

Card: #PR60 Western Auto Team

“ What is up with racing cards? This is the second just awful looking racing card in the last couple weeks. The front looks like a racing car is crashing into a 18 wheeler, reminds me of the old Burnout video games. The back looks like someone is watching a race while medicated. I try to say something positive, if I can, but I can't find anything. ” -davidhandberry

“ Yikes, this card is a whole lot of bad. Its a shame too because I liked that car design too. ” -jupiterhill

“ Oh no! That giant truck is crushing that race car! ” -rmpaq5

“ What? Racing card? Front seems OK I guess, back is a train wreck or rather a racetrack wreck. That sort of distortion effect only works on video, or those 3-D flicker type images that switch back and forth. ” -captkirk42

“ Alright, something different. Too bad I turned the card over. ” -NJDevils

“ Awesome, another NASCAR card as card of the Day. Darrell Waltrip owned and drove this car, it was nearing the end of his Hall of Fame career, which began in 1972 at the Cup level, and lasted until 2000. By this point he had already scored all 84 of his wins, which still ranks 5th all time. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Just when you thought only race cars were allowed on the track, Mayhem crashes the party with a big ole' semi. Hope you have Allstate, and not some cut-rate insurance. And what the hell is going on with the back of this card? ” -CollectingAfterDeath
