Set: 1994-95 Semic (Rate)

Card: #68 Patrik Juhlin

“ Cool. I assume he was on the Swedish Olympic team from the rings and the flag. ” -switzr1

“ Nice but very simple Hockey card. Go SWEDEN! ” -captkirk42

“ Well the Swedes make a better card than they do disposable furniture. ” -rmpaq5

“ Cool card...looks like it might be a set about that year's Olympics which would be even better in my opinion. I'll need to find at least one example of this set for my collection. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Love the overseas card ,almost as much as amateurs. ” -uncaian

“ I love the days where you'd see a wider variety of masks and helmets in hockey. I'll have to check if Jofa is still around. ” -DanD

“ Almost looks like a sticker. Not bad overall. ” -muskie027

“ Nice Olympic symbol, but other than that just meh. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Love the European stuff, like to see how they do things differently. Ranford has a few of these, not Olympic ones I don't think, but Worlds, yes. ” -ranfordfan

Set: 1994 Stadium Club - Bowman's Best Refractors (Rate)

Card: #10 Drew Bledsoe

“ A lot going on here. I don't like a lot of it. ” -muskie027

“ I'm sure the weird Aztec looking background is foiled or semi-foil as Topps likes to make Bowman's Best all chromey. Ah Drew Bledsoe he had the unfortunate luck of being severely injured during the season the Patriots would win their first Super Bowl with his backup QB Tom Brady. ” -captkirk42

“ I am hoping it doesn't look this bad in hand but this is one terrible looking card front. The back isn't as bad but not good either. I would give the front a 2 and the back a 4. Poor Drew Bledsoe, got injured, Tom Brady took his place and the rest, as they say, is history. ” -davidhandberry

“ The card seems a little busy, but it could be just the scan. ” -kirkscards

“ Now that is a cool looking card. I'd like to see one in person because I'm sure it's even nicer. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I really liked this set at the time. Probably don't own any now. What if this guy had never gotten hurt? Realistically, his injury could probably be considered on the same level with Wally Pipp's. ” -switzr1

“ Bowman's Best or.............not quite so good. ” -Gunny

“ Interesting design on this card, kind of reminds me of the Coyotes kachina design for some reason. ” -Tylergallo

“ MY EYES ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ I prefer simpler designs and thus, find this one waaay too busy - even gaudy. Surprisingly, the Stadium Club line is usually one of the more photo-based of all. In other words, not a fan. ” -BigBadWulf

Set: 1995 Panini Stickers (Rate)

Card: #140 Houston Astros

“ Well I would normally like something like this, but it's pretty plain. ” -switzr1

“ I love team logo cards. Doesn't matter which sport. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The card of the day is...... A sticker. ” -YoRicha

“ I sort of like this logo. ” -kirkscards

“ hard to believe it's the same team that had the rainbow look of the late 70s ” -stchazjojo4kharvick

“ Cool team logo sticker. I prefer the Astros original Astrodome logo, but oddly enough identify them mostly with the "H" in the star cap logo. ” -captkirk42

“ I LOVE STICKERS!! Even boring Houston Astros stickers. ” -LordKinbote

“ still seems weird to me that the stros are in the American league now ” -Thunderfoot

Set: 2004 Topps Heritage (Rate)

Card: #23 Joe Kennedy

“ It's strange, I believe yesterday was a Topps Big that had almost the same look. This card gets all 10s from me though because it is the standard size where as yesterdays I said it probably would have been 10s if it weren't for the size and the lack of position on the front, which they fixed. The back, more stats would be nice but I love the old style cartoon so I will give it a 10 anyway. ” -davidhandberry

“ I like the Heritage sets. I wish they did more than two years for the NBA. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ To me it is just weird seeing these "modern teams" on these old designs. ” -rmpaq5

“ Hudson Valley alumnus, gone way too soon. RIP Joe. ” -vrooomed

“ It's a shame the TM has to be so large. It's ridiculous that it really has to be there in the first place, especially since it wasn't there in 1955. ” -vanstryland

“ I don't remember any Devil Rays in 1955 Topps. ” -switzr1

“ I Like most Heritage. However this set is a little disappointing. Maybe it is just that I don't enjoy the original design as much as I thought I did. ” -captkirk42

“ Love the look of these heritage. Very good. ” -parsley24

“ Same comment I always make on these: beautiful card, if only it were about 50 years older. ” -Vvvergeer

“ That is a wicked case of jaundice! ” -UKboogie

“ A really nice looking card. ” -muskie027

“ RIP. I have always liked Heritage. This one is kinda cool. ” -Tylergallo

Set: 1990 Topps Big (Rate)

Card: #44 Marty Barrett

“ I love the Topps Big sets. Same size as the 1955 and 1956 cards. All three years look really good. ” -switzr1

“ One of my most hated sets. The look of the cards is great, would like a position on the front and maybe some more stats on the back but minor problems. Might drop the front and back from 10s to 9.5s, if it weren't for the major issue with this awful set that they are so huge. They don't fit anywhere, I just have mine lined up in a drawer, along with other sets that are too large or way too small. The other big problem is everyone has this issue so if you get these from people, most of the time they are damaged in some way. I apologize for the essay, thanks for your times. ” -davidhandberry

“ Bigger IS better! There's something nostalgic about these - I'm including the series that Topps also produced in '88 and '89 (and extended into Bowman '89) - that draws me to them. If I was a set collector I'd target one of these. ” -Sportzcommish

“ Love the cartoon on the back. Other than that, this is a cartoon of a card. ” -parsley24

“ I'm not a fan of the size of the Topps Big sets. Some of them are nice designs. I think because they were specifically designed for kids. This one screams 1990s or 1980 neon colors. I like they have a cartoon on the back. I'm not a fan of lots of colors on the back . ” -captkirk42

“ I didn't know about Topps Big until this card came up. Pretty solid history here: https://www.sportscollectorsdigest.com/topps-big-baseball-earliest-premium-sets/ ” -vanstryland

“ Uggh. What a terrible set. Horrible, thin paper--easy to bend. ” -cjjt

Set: 2003 Upper Deck First Pitch (Rate)

Card: #9 Ramon Santiago

“ Not a bad front, wish the banner with name and logo was at the very bottom of the card. ” -rmpaq5

“ Very clean and nice looking. ” -Tylergallo

“ I like the card. Sadly I missed out on sports and card collecting for much of the 00's and early 10's and had never heard of Ramon Santiago, then I look him up and he played in the majors for over a decade. It is sad all the catching up I need to do for that time period. ” -davidhandberry

“ Maybe not a star, but he did have a 13-year major league career, including 10 years with Detroit. ” -vanstryland

“ Nice looking card. Nice title for a baseball insert. To match the title it would have been nice to have a brief about the player's first Major League At Bat, good or bad. (or if a pitcher the first batter he faced.) ” -captkirk42

“ Nice card. I like the design, and it's a good photo. ” -switzr1

“ A baseball card as RCOD? What is this world coming to? Bring back ducks and Magic the Gathering! *said no one ever ” -Sonofearl

“ Not sure why, but there is something I am not liking about this. I can't put my finger on it. ” -muskie027

“ Looks like he's seeing fastball. Just don't chase one in the dirt. ” -FiresNBeers

Set: 1999 Playoff Prestige SSD (Rate)

Card: #B174 Kevin Johnson

“ Cool card. Holofoil is cool. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Hey, a Syracuse guy for Chuck. His uniform didn't change too much when he was drafted by the Browns. ” -switzr1

“ OK I forget what the dang SSD stands for Something, Something Draft I think. Rookie heavy set. Nice looking scan.I forget if these are all foil background or not. I think so I seem to recall not liking some of the early Prestige sets. Negative Nancys will complain about the front background image being the same as the back image. Odd font choice for player name first name scripted last name bold print Looks like his first name is "Robin" or "Kebin". Back too much space wasted on picture "sigh" a typical 1990s back design. ” -captkirk42

“ Didnt realize he was also a wideout as well as a PG for the suns. ” -parsley24

“ card would've been better without the holo shimmer ” -Thunderfoot

“ What does SSD mean? Super scintillating draft, Dickie V style? Solid state drive on a computer? Seriously, what does it mean? ” -vanstryland

Set: 2009 Upper Deck - Gold (Rate)

Card: #764 Carlos Delgado

“ Nice looking numbered card of a very overlooked player. 33rd all-time in home runs. ” -switzr1

“ I really like this design. And a serial numbered parallel? Even better. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice action shot. I actually like the gold on this one. 10 years of stats on the back is at least better than 5. And it's soooo much better than the duck card. ” -Vvvergeer

“ 764 cards in a set, kinda miss those days of huge set numbers ” -Thunderfoot

“ ?Gold Parallel? Shouldn't the one with the gold background on the back be the "Gold" Parallel? Now I am totally confused about which one is which. ” -captkirk42

“ For some reason '09 Upper Deck never resonated with me. I mean, it's a sharp-looking design (especially in gold parallel form) but I guess it lacks a bit of charm when compared to past UD baseball offerings. Anyways, Let's Go Mets!!! ” -mkaz80

“ If my wife wife see's this, she'll start collecting cards! I'll have the biggest collection of Ducks, Deer's, Hippo's, Lion's, Tiger's,,, oh my ” -revelie99

“ Carlos Delgado always reminded me of a left-handed version of Pedro Cerrano (the voodoo guy) from the 1989 film "Major League". ” -Alomar_Collector

“ Good card with 1 complaint. I like the full picture on the front. Name a little hard to read. Back is good--stats plus text. But I hate using the same picture front and back. ” -cjjt

Set: 2008 Press Pass Stealth Retail (Rate)

Card: #57 Denny Hamlin's Car

“ Clean card design, however, the lower left purple should have some inscription on it ” -Tylergallo

“ I like that it's a car and not a driver, but I wish I could see more of it. ” -switzr1

“ While I am happy to see a NASCAR card come up again, I'm not a huge fan of the set or driver. Although it's obscured in this photo, there is a crossover with one of my other main sports. Michael Jordan's famed Jumpman logo is on the pillar between the front and rear side windows. Hamlin is sponsored by (and is personal friends with) Michael Jordan. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I don't care for auto racing but this is what an auto racing card should be, car on one side and driver on the other. The border on the front should be smaller, it cuts into the picture too much and on the back makes it so where the stats are too small for my eyes. ” -davidhandberry

“ A really nice card, front and back. ” -NJDevils

“ "Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer" oops that ain't Speedy. It is a racing card though. Nice pick of the team pit crew. Looks like it was from an actual race and not a "staged" posed photo. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2002-03 Fleer Showcase (Rate)

Card: #14 Quentin Richardson

“ Q-Rich...cool guy. Card design not great. At least the borders are embossed. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Why are there so many cards with double images? I think it would look pretty cool with just the one image and the background in color and in focus. I must be missing something. ” -chvlDm

“ Weird photo, even if I were only seeing it once. ” -switzr1

“ Does Quentin alway dunk in front of a mural of himself, or is it just this card? ” -LordKinbote

“ A very nice photo and a duplicate photo done right on the front. Honestly looks like like a plaque I would have up in my room when I was a kid. The back is good but for some reason doesn't fit for this card's classic front look to me. The front looks vintage and needs a vintage looking back, and the back looks like a typical 90s, 00s and needs a more modern front. I would grade the front and back 10s each but they belong with other cards. ” -davidhandberry

“ I like the back and will leave it at that. ” -NJDevils

“ I tend to like these Fleer Showcase cards. Except I have grown tired of their frames, Wish it was easier to read the names with the way they match the foiling to the frame colors. ” -captkirk42

“ Well, all I can say is I don't like this card at all. Just a bad design concept all the way around. ” -yokonashiwa
