Set: 2000 Pacific Prism Prospects (Rate)

Card: #126 Travis Prentice

“ Luckily I have seen this set in hand or else it would not fair well for this card. I know from experience that the fronts look awesome in hand, but they probably don't scan well. The front is great, the back is perfection. I would give the front a 9 and the back a 10. ” -davidhandberry

“ Ahhh, Pacific. Home to useless parallels and cool parallels. Always trying to be different. Always interesting inserts. Tough card to scan properly. ” -cjjt

“ Nice card like the front, no major complaint, except maybe having a white background with no border. Back looks nice but should have more in the way of stats or a bio. Too much wasted space on back. ” -captkirk42

“ He a few good games in the pros, a much better college career. Not a bad looking card. ” -muskie027

Set: 2005 Upper Deck Rookie Debut - Gold 150 (Rate)

Card: #135 Chris Henry

“ I don't like college cards- never have, never will- but I know two WVU collectors that, if I saw it for sale locally, I'd pick up and send it to one of them (Whoever I owed a thank you to at the time) ” -Billy Kingsley

“ This might be the worst card to pop up recently. I have looked at it several times and I still haven't found anything I like about this card. I hope none of the players I collect are in this dreadful set. ” -davidhandberry

“ Disagree with the set title. Rookie DEBUT OK which team did he DEBUT ON? Chris Henry sounds very familiar, like he is a superstar now. He is from WVU obviously but no mention of what team he was drafted by... Looking him up... OH OK he played for the Bengals for 5 seasons. ...He Died tragically. They could make a movie of the week about his life. ” -captkirk42

“ Fine card, I guess. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Yikes. The front looks like a back, and the back looks like, well, a disaster. I am shocked, I am not sure I ever truly disliked and upper deck card. Maybe it is better in hand. ” -muskie027

“ Does his position really deserve the largest font on the card, UD? ” -kents_stuff

Set: 2008 Topps Moments & Milestones (Rate)

Card: #125-24 Matt Holliday

“ Here come the haters- and that's fine. This set, like some gourmet food, is an acquired taste. And I've acquired it. I have completed 87% of this set, and would love to finish it off. If anyone has any leads, let me know. Or if anyone wants to start it, I have lots of dupes. Contact me. ” -Dave Sosidka

“ Good looking card, but what are the 24 hits relating to? There is nothing on the card that, that relates to. Otherwise a great ” -parsley24

“ Doing this on my mobile device, so I can’t see the back without cutting and pasting and going down rabbit holes. But as cool as this is as a massive chase concept (like the season biographies and such from UD), it would be funny if this card was for a 1-out bloop single on an 1 for 4 night, as opposed to a big or clutch peformance! ;) ” -stevejrogers

“ Nice card. I like the design. But what is "24 hits"; it is not mentioned on the back of the card. ” -cjjt

“ I don't understand why it says 24 Hits? This card is very confusing in what it is trying to say. ” -RoyalChief

“ The epitome of mind boggling amounts of parallels and variations. So thankful my main collection player Barry Bonds is not featured. This has to be a huge headache for any player collector. I do have several hundred of other players I've accumulated over the years. ” -weight333

“ Not a fan of these Milstone cards. One design for a zillion cards that differ only by the number for the achievement. Even when it is a player a PC I don't like them. ” -captkirk42

“ Nothing like "milestones" based on height and weight. ” -NJDevils

“ Interesting choice. I don't like this card because there are too many of them. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Matt Holliday didn't touch home plate. ” -ketchupman36

“ Sorry, but what's the 24 for? It's card #125-24, it seems? I guess I'd have to look at the set to understand that numbering system. But if that's the case, I have no images in my head that end up being acceptable for such a numbering system. 24's not his uniform number, and clearly he had 216 hits, and he broke his own best by 20, etc. Nope, I don't get it. ” -kents_stuff

“ Seriously? There's a record for hits by a "Clydesdale?!" I love statistics, but we've clearly finally gone over the edge. The design of the card is ok, other than the vertical writing. But I'm very confused. What's the moment or milestone? 216 hits by a big guy? 24 hits.... somehow? No really, what is the 24 for? ” -Vvvergeer

Set: 2018 Topps Gypsy Queen (Rate)

Card: #199 Rhys Hoskins

“ Intentional error is not an error. Yuck! ” -vrooomed

“ I really like the front design. The vintage feel without it being a copy of an old design is really nice. It has to be an error though because on the front and back it says Washington Nationals and he has always been a Phillie. The back I wish had more substance. One sentence about a player is not enough and blank space and logo and legal stuff take up more space than info. The front I would give a 9, the back a 3. ” -davidhandberry

“ Went to my high school and college..... ” -Splinter_9

“ Roughly 65% of the back of this card is wasted space. Try harder, GQ. If you can't come up with more than 28 words and no stats, then maybe print on the back side of cereal boxes, instead. ” -kents_stuff

“ Obscure record on the back. ” -kirkscards

“ said it before but the term "Gypsy Queen" doesn't seem to fit for male athletes. but nice looking card ” -Thunderfoot

“ UGH I hate these intentional error card gimmicks as well as the "missing name" "errors". This one is a wrong team. ” -captkirk42

Set: 2016-17 SP Authentic (Rate)

Card: #111 Auston Matthews

“ I don't know why it is just kinda blah to me. Good game for Auston but I would have rather an action shot from the game or something more than standing holding hockey pucks or maybe a better background than empty lockers. The back reminds me of the credits from an old black and white movie not a good look for a baseball card. I would give the front a 4 and the back a 4. ” -davidhandberry

“ This subset should have been in the flagship set. That should be about documenting the previous season. This event occured less than two months before hockey became a part of my life, though I do remember hearing about it when it happened. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Good card. Great achievement. ” -cjjt

“ OK a nice card to be a "highlight" card within the base set. If this were a Topps card it would be part of a silly insert set, and there would be 50 different variations of it driving me insane in trying to figure out which variant it was that I had. ” -captkirk42

“ Authentically a bad job. ” -NJDevils

“ The top individual performance I've witnessed in my 22+ years as a Leafs fan. ” -DanD

“ A little too much glare on that right-most puck, SP. But I think it's cool to commemorate some of these types of moments in sport. ” -kents_stuff

“ I remember watching that game, crazy stuff. Leafs are my second team, hope the Cactus can lead them to the Cup. ” -IfbBirdsCards

Set: 2003 Upper Deck Finite (Rate)

Card: #273 Willie Ponder

“ This is just a horrible card. When the best thing about it is an action picture of a player in workout shorts, you know the card is bad. Design is terrible on both sides, especially the Finite Rookie bar across the middle of the front. At least it has a team logo on both sides and a serial number, but it's still bad. ” -spazmatastic

“ I don't know if he will ponder but I am pondering whether I like this card or not. It is a bit busy but I like the color scheme. I wish they had zoomed out just a bit to get all of him in the picture but I forgive action shots for this. I like the back. I would probably give the front a 8 and the back a 9. ” -davidhandberry

“ Never good when you're drafted to "improve special teams", unless you're a punter or kicker. ” -Splinter_9

“ Wow, green and purple looks a lot nicer on this design than the blue and tan of the NBA design. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I hated these things when I first saw them. I like the serial numbers but thought it was too "Computerized" I won't even pretend to figure out what it says across his waist. I also don't like the summer camp/practice squad workout clothes. ” -captkirk42

“ Me like ” -Kirbythedodger

“ All time worst color combination. ” -NJDevils

Set: 1982 Donruss (Rate)

Card: #22 Lon Hinkle

“ I did not know that Donruss made golf cards and I have to say I really like this card. It does help that it is my birth year. ” -davidhandberry

“ Great shot with the ball right by his head. Not a bad design. I don't remember him. ” -vrooomed

“ I fell asleep on the couch to whispering announcers and polite golf claps while looking at this card. ” -wjhipwell

“ That's a really neat shot. You can see the ball and the cloud of dust too. Don't know how you could get a better photo. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I really like this design, layout, and the back information is straight and to the point offering key information. ” -rmpaq5

“ FOUR! (FORE?). Nice looking Golf card. I'm not a fan of golf but it is a nice early 1980s card. ” -captkirk42

“ The red and green color combo looks like Christmas decoration. Not a bad photo, though. ” -henryb123

“ Actually, I think this is one of the nicest golf cards and sets I have ever seen and I didn't even know it existed! Not that I collect golf much, but these are cool. ” -muskie027

“ not much of a golf guy, but nice looking card ” -Thunderfoot

“ Nice, clean, and basic card. A little odd to have the information about the family though. ” -hannajon34

Set: 2001 Topps Archives (Rate)

Card: #177 Gene Upshaw

“ I have fond memories (and a few sets) of 2001 Archives Football. ” -trauty

“ Nice looking card and at this time I really enjoyed the reprinted vintage cards but I have grown weary of them. ” -davidhandberry

“ Love the Archives concept. Not sure if this is a reprint or an homage, but I suspect the former. Either way, I like it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Not my fave, but a nice design ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Like these early Archives cards. If I recall they are reprints. For reprints I don't mind the stamped logo too much it is only on the buyback vintage that I have a big issue with the stamping. I'd prefer no stamping but if it is part of a new product's design I tolerate it some. ” -captkirk42

“ I never quite understood the reprints of cards that are only 20 years old. ” -kirkscards

“ I love archive cards when they use different pictures from the original. Great stuff. But reprints are good too. A chance to get those cards I can never afford. ” -cjjt

Set: 2016 Score - Scorecard (Rate)

Card: #55 Matt Forte

“ I have come to the conclusion I don't like Panini no matter what brand or sport they are printing. They always feel lazy. ” -YoRicha

“ The front is pretty good except I am so tired of white borders. The back is awful. Same rehashed picture as the front. The one year of stats doesn't bother me as much as others but when you just have tons of blank space and a duplicate picture maybe you could have put stats instead. The front I would give an 8 and the back a 1. ” -davidhandberry

“ I like it. A parallel, and a real photo...if I collected football I'd be chasing this set. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Never been a big fan of Panini/Score, but I like the back. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ When I stop and think about it, the "Scorecard" parallel seems silly -- make the border a different color, or at the very least serial number it. Non-numbered parallels are not my preference. Matt Forte, though -- good player. ” -DylanJenkins

“ Nice modern football set. I have liked most of the Score sets and the recent years have been OK. The front is a nice design although weird frame shape.Back it is a shame they use the same photo as the front just cropped differently. I have already said many times I dislike one year worth of stats on the back, except for the vintage years when they hadn't yet done full career stats. I am disappointed in the fact that this is a parallel. They make too many parallels now. The only difference between this and the regular base card is the word "Scorecard". ” -captkirk42

“ Can barely read the blue script above the name. At first I thought it said SpongeBob ” -NJDevils

“ Another mindless parallel. ” -cjjt

“ I don't mind parallel's when there is something special, but when there is just 100 parallel's for every color, it just seems useless. I do like the Score football sets though. Panini puts out some quality cards with great fronts. I've said it a million times though, they need to work on the backs. This one isn't bad, just the stats kill me. Most other Panini cards have awful backs. ” -muskie027

Set: 2004 Upper Deck - National Pride (Rate)

Card: #USA13 Paul Janish

“ Decent enough looking card, but never been a fan of the laziness involved in using a blow up of a pic already on the card. They might have used a little bigger font for the guys name as well, can barely see it. The premise is there, the execution... not so much ” -Smokin_joe

“ I like this card except the double photo on front. If it wasn't just a blown up out of focus copy of the other picture it would have been nice. I remember Janish as a utility player for the Braves several years back but would never have guessed that he had been on the U.S. National team. ” -davidhandberry

“ Interesting design. I like it...the National Pride lettering looks especially interesting to me. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice looking card. For some reason I am not a fan of USA Team cards, yet I do like some of the USA Olympic cards. Strange Puppy I am. ” -captkirk42

“ Ooh, this is nice. Paul Janish was my fave player called up to the 2017 O's. At least, I think.. maybe not 2017. Oh well, cool card at least! ” -Kirbythedodger

“ I have pride in my nation, but I will not be signing up for this National Pride card. The baseball looks cool enough and it did have potential, but the same photo twice on the front and a boring overall rest of the card just make this mediocre. ” -muskie027
