“ Who doesn't love Superman???? Good anytime. ” -tbshaw

“ Cartoon art, bad. ” -carthage44

“ I never really liked the Bruce Timm art on the DC Animated Universe. But the stories were not too bad. I had to check and see if this was my scan, and it was. I bought a grand total of one pack of this set. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ A Super Card (sorry about that one). Nice comics non-sport card. Wow you need most of the set to get the "game board" and to figure out how to play the game on the back of the cards. That must be the "action" part of the action packs. ” -captkirk42

“ Hmm? I must have stopped reading the comics before reaching the Toyman villain. Never heard of him, but I'm sure Superman handled him with ease. Beautiful card. Classic Superman pose with that tough square jaw. I'd take a closer look. ” -Sportzcommish

“ It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's the ROCTD! ” -muskie027

This concept of "Toyman" was created specifically for the cartoon...the comic version was a murderous old guy who could not get past the idea that kids no longer wanted his old school toys...they later brought this concept into the comics as a robot created by the actual Toyman, and was eventually blown up...the real Toyman dates to 1943, and has been a recurring if not major foe over the years. He was used the most in the early 1990s but has broken out of jail several times since then. Having read every DC book from 1975-2011 really comes in handy sometimes, LOL

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Man of Steel.   Ate many lunches with him  as a kid.     Great way to encourage reading in children.     Thank you, Jor-el and Lara.
