“ sad ” -cjjt

“ As a dog lover I hold very little value in the worth of this "human being." ” -UKboogie

Let it go people, he didn't kill a human. He served more than enough time in jail, lost the prime of his career, went bankrupt and has been nothing but generous by donating money to animal groups and children.

THIS! Like seriously PETA, I mean people, let it go. He made a mistake, a big mistake. He has served his time. I wouldn't still be mad at my wife ten years later after a stupid parking mistake she knowingly made and got ticketed for, because by now she would have paid her fine and it would be done. The past is in the past and he can't change it. He has repented As a matter of fact, I almost respect Vick more as a person NOW then I did in the prime of his career. Of course not for him crime, but how he responded. It was an incredibly humbling expierence, and instead of behaving like so many narcissistic athletes would, he ate his humble pie with dignity and didn't complain about it once. His life has taken a complete 180 in my opinion, the ultimate comeback story.

My point is people should always be given a second chance, because you should look yourself in the mirror and ask, where would I be if no one gave me a second chance? You cannot tell me with a straight face that you've never made a mistake, no maybe not to the extent Vick did, but mistakes nonetheless. You need to watch how people respond to their second chance closely, because that will tell you how they really are as people. Did that person b**** and moan during the entire jail sentence? Did they repeat their awful crime or perform any others? Do they behave similarly as before their jail sentence, or have they appeared to have changed?

Not saying I support the guy, but at least people understand that he served more than enough time.

Anyway, the card is good, and of an amazing player. Mixed feelings as an Eagle fan, but hey, we hate enough of our guys as it is to hate him.

Very well said Slug03. I always rooted for Vick before and still rooted for him to bounce back after.
