“ I am not a big fan of the shape, but not bad other than that for what it is. ” -muskie027

“ Great #2 receiver for my Boys. Crashed and burned as a #1 for the Bucs. The guy could jump though. ” -Splinter_9

“ I remember getting a perforated sheet of these from Mickey D's back in the day. I was super-excited because mine contained a Thurman Thomas card, and he was (is) my guy! ” -mkaz80

“ These cards always felt out of place due to their size. ” -carthage44

“ Panini could learn a lot about making cards from McDonalds. ” -UKboogie

“ Back in 93 I loved these things. I didn't care about the awkward size of them. Now I don't like their "tallboy" size. Like the cards though. Have the Skins team set (still in the 3 sheets and maybe have a separate set not sure on that) and I think I have the "All Stars" (or All-Pros as the NFL calls all stars) set. ” -captkirk42

“ I have no problem with the card. It's a pretty good looking card. I have more questions than anything. Was this set in McDonald's food or was it sold in stores? Why would McDonald's sponsor a whole set? Usually if there is a set sponsored by a brand it is just a handful of stars. This is a whole 500 card set though. That is tons of McDonald's to eat trying to get the full set. ” -davidhandberry

Good looking card overall though just unsure of body parts extending into the borders, that's all.

@davidandbe

They were sold at McDonalds stores. You could get them as a "bonus" if you bought a certain combination for a sandwich or you could buy them for a fixed price like $3bucks or something with a regular purchase of food. They would cater the sets by region. All regions could get the All-Star cards and depending on where you were you could get your "local" team. Each set contained 3 sheets of 6 cards. Like many McDonalds promos each week they would feature one sheet. The first week you could only get the first page, week 2 the default would be the week 2 sheet but you could also get the first page. Or they might have just limited things to the featured sheet of the week and then when all sheets had been featured you could get the full set. For however long they had the  promotion.
