Year: 1995-96

Set: Parkhurst International (Rate)

Card: #420 Trent McCleary

“ If they hadn't put the faded out enlarged picture in the bottom left and gotten his left foot into the frame this would have been a great front. The back reminds me of the 90's TV show credits. Same issue that they cut the foot off the player. Besides that a good hockey card. ” -davidhandberry

“ Wow!! is there anything else that they could have squeezed into the front of this card? Maybe put the team name down the left side, a foil border, serial numbers. This is a very, very busy card.. ” -Smokin_joe

“ Big fan of this set, probably my favourite hockey set of the 1990s. Nice graphic design, complete career stats (but not on this card because he was a rookie), different photo front and back, what's not to like? The "International" bit was added because this set was technically not licensed for sale in North America. Upper Deck released it as a "European exclusive" to get around NHL licensing restrictions on how many brands each card company was permitted to release. It was still widely available here so I suspect all they really did was sell them to a wholesaler with a European business address who immediately turned around and sold them to North American retailers. ” -bevans

“ Whoa. It's, like, someone dropped an acid tab in the center of the rink, man. ” -mkaz80

“ This card has potential. Its like one of those 3rd grade school photos from the 80s. I wish the smaller photo was a different shot. ” -parsley24

“ This set should really not have international in the title. It was not made specifically for the international market, it was planned to be released in the USA and Canada, it just wasn't due to the lockout. This is just part of the long history of Parkhurst. Putting international in the title is just the same as if we put USA or Canada in the title of every other set. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Just too busy of a card ” -NJDevils

“ What am I looking at? Oh a mid 1990s Parkhurst Hockey card that looks like it could be Football? Can barely read the guys name Trent McCleary. Guessing by his sweater/jersey his is on the Ottawa Senators, not to be confused with the vintage Washington Senators of Baseball of which I am a huge fan, not a fan of the Hockey Senators. Was this guy a rookie for this year? I don't see stats on the back. Just a bio. And why does the hockey players association logo look like a big hot chili pepper? ” -captkirk42

“ We think our photo is so cool, we put it on the front twice! ” -muskie027

“ Looks like the first photoshop project I ever did in like 8th grade. "Look what I can do with bevels and opacity!" ” -Jgamble
