Year: 2001

Set: Upper Deck Sweet Spot (Rate)

Card: #74 Sun-Woo Kim

“ Will I suppose a giant baseball is a reasonable background for a baseball card. Pretty good action shot but I hope it is posed, otherwise the photographer is a lot braver than me. Idid think the numbers on his uniform pants were part of the titching on the ball.at first glance. I rather like this one. ” -John Kerry

“ Way too much white border. Besides that everything looks great to me. I miss back in the early 2000s when numbered cards were out of hundreds or thousands. This 1/1 or 1/5 thing that they do now makes it impossible to collect. ” -davidhandberry

“ Nice looking card. ” -parsley24

“ OK I like Sweet Spot cards, but at first look this card reminded me of Indiana Jones Running for his life from the giant rolling boulder in "Raiders of The Lost Ark" Sorry Now I can't take this card seriously. ” -captkirk42

“ Interesting card.I don't like that they put his name in the middle and not at the bottom, but altogether it looks smooth. ” -Tylergallo

“ It's too bad that guy got in the way of this baseball photo. I like some of the later Sweet Spot designs, but not this one. ” -kents_stuff

“ There is a giant alien baseball coming to get him from behind!!! Watch out Sun-Woo!!!! The serial number is cool. The card isn't bad. The baseball reminds me of the thing from that new Independence Day movie that wants to help the humans. Hence, the alien reference. ” -muskie027

Most awkward placement of name and team in the history of cards.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff.  Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
