Random Card of the Day |
Monday, February 18, 2019Year: 1989-00 Card: #164 B-17G Flying Fortress “ Oh man I used to love building World War II model airplanes! Love the nostalgia this card immediately brought back! ” -rmpaq5
“ I've gotten to see B-17s flying twice in my life- once out my bathroom window, once at an airport. Majestic craft. They inspire awe, at least in me. I wish I could have seen a formation of them flying. I saw the Collings Foundation's plane and Sentimental Journey, in case anyone is wondering. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ Smooth looking card! ” -NJDevils
“ Scan submitted by grim25 ” -Kirbythedodger
“ Nice scenery. I kind of like it. ” -Duke
“ Cool Military Airplane Non-Sport. Dang it a modern set. At first glance I thought maybe it would be a vintage just after WWII set. *Sigh* Uh-Oh it is a set that took 10 years in the making, and then maybe some more. This would be a set that it would be interesting to know the history of the set. Also if there could be some way of notating that a set was released bit-by-bit over a span of years would be nice. Is there any brief description of sets anywhere around here? ” -captkirk42
“ Unfamiliar with this set, but I like this card a lot!! ” -switzr1
“ Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure that there are plenty of collectors out there who would enjoy a card such as this. ” -rmitchell6700
“ Not bad for non-sport. ” -muskie027
“ Memphis Belle is one heck of a movie. These planes were the lifeblood for the Allied Forces in WWII. Cool card plain and simple. ” -ranfordfan
“ Not a fan of non-sports cards and this is no different. ” -davidhandberry
