Year: 2000

Set: Playoff Absolute - Coaches Honors (Rate)

Card: #73 Fred Taylor

“ If the shot on the front was more action I would say this is a perfect football card in my opinion. I always think you need an unhelmeted picture of football players somewhere on the card so that you can get to know the players who are normally anonymous behind the face mask. I would give the front a 9 and the back a 10. ” -davidhandberry

“ Not sure what "Coaches Honors" means, but nice numbered parallel card. Absolute is one of the many Donruss/Playoff brands that carried over to Panini America with the 2009 acquisition/name change. ” -switzr1

“ Scan by carthage44 ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Cool looking card. Great front (ignoring gold foil). NIce back should have some career highlights or some vitals to fill some space. ” -captkirk42

“ Based on the year I am guessing this card looks better in hand than the scan. I like the front, only complaint is I didn't see position listed. Pretty solid design. The back is pretty solid as well. This is the type of card I like in my collection. ” -BSwagger

“ Most impressed that I remembered he was a Gator. ” -UKboogie

I like this card and I'm sure it looks better in-hand. Absolute is one of the products I always liked from Playoff (and then Donruss/Playoff). Panini has done a decent job since they took over the name, but not as good as when it was just Playoff.
