“ This card shows just about everything I hate about Topps, boring design, parallel that is the same as the base card just changing a border, posed action photos. I do like the tracker on the back, telling about his past and future but one positive and 50 negatives is still a bad card. The only thing about the front I can say nicely is I like the secondary border with the team colors, if they had used that for the outside border and hadn't made several parallels the front could have been good. ” -davidhandberry

“ Maybe some day Topps will listen to a large swatch of collectors and resurrect the Topps Total brand. (But probably not cos the pack searching, lottery-ticket buying 'mah four-color patch and sticker auto' collector writes the narrative of the day.) I'd trade Opening Day and Gypsy Queen to get Total back. Or maybe they can expand Big League to have a larger even more-inclusive checklist. ” -mkaz80
