Year: 1992

Set: Classic I (Rate)

Card: #T94 John Wetteland

“ I actually enjoyed playing this game with my friends growing up. Simple and clean design too. ” -ShoTime

“ All Star closer to protective custody inmate ” -Young Kilo

“ I like these cards. Wish there were issues like this nowadays. This guy was Word Series MVP in '96 ” -chvlDm

“ Everything about this card just seems awkward lol ” -Mscott713

“ I always liked this set but looking at it thoroughly, it is very basic. The front is boring, with another all white border, and nothing but the company logo, year, picture and name on the front. No team name, no position. The picture on the front is a good action shot and got to give them props for the American flag colors on the top. The back on the other hand is amazing, with the trivia and the stadium background. I would give the front a 7 and the back a 10. ” -davidhandberry

“ Based on the current allegations against him, he's not really someone we want for random card of the day. ” -DocOso

“ Nice set for Minor League collecting. Huge set though. This is a Traded Update card with the "T" numbering. Nice all-around card. ” -captkirk42

“ Another good entry in the "Athletes Convicted of Crimes" list... ” -Gapporin

“ At first I thought it was a Topps mini leader circa 1986. I liked those. I do not like this. ” -muskie027

I know an American is presumed innocent by a court of law until proven guilty, but charges of diddling little kids are hard to overlook for a private citizen, who has no obligation to presume innocence.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff.  Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I agree with DocOso  and Switzr1.   Yes they have to stay on the data base, just not RCOTD
