Year: 2001-02

Set: Fleer Exclusive - Game Exclusives (Rate)

Card: #NNO Karl Malone

“ I have good memories of this set, although the design is not really all that memorable. It was the first set to put patches in the base set- although Fleer didn't quite know what a patch was. They considered anything with more than one color a patch, so I pulled a card with a painted pinstripe from the Orlando Magic jersey labeled as a patch. Of course, as we all know, a patch is a part of the jersey taken from the name, team logo or number- something sewn on...not a painted pinstripe or the borders around the sleeves. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ That is a very small piece of something. ” -ShoTime

“ It is very rare that I see an action shot on a memorabilia card. The back actually has things about the player. For a memorabilia card I would give this a 10 for the front and the back. If this was a regular card I would maybe knock it to a 9 for the duplicate image on the front but seeing as how rare it is to have a good looking memorabilia card I am forgiving it. ” -davidhandberry

“ Awesome card! The Mailman...jersey swatch...numbered to 100. Love it! ” -mkaz80

“ The mailman! Although this patch looks like it's from a road uniform. You'd think they'd want to match the image on the card to the game-worn jersey, but I've seen lots of examples where it's not true. Overall, the jersey is a cool idea, but it's not where I put my collection dollars. ” -vanstryland

“ You've Got Mail! ” -captkirk42

“ anybody remember when Jimmy Kimmel was actually funny and would dress up as the mailman on the man show...good times ” -Thunderfoot

“ Cool, but I really didn't like a lot of "modern" 90's basketball logos. This was one. ” -muskie027

That's a pretty nice looking jersey card.
