Random Card of the Day

Year: 2010

Set: Press Pass - By The Numbers (Target) (Rate)

Card: #BNT 6 Jimmie Johnson

“ These die cuts were/are a pain in the but to scan, but the concept is one that I like. He's actually the winningest driver of this century. NASCAR considers the modern era to have begun in 1972, but really, it began in 2004, and as such that makes him the winningest driver of the modern era as well. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice looking card. Wish it had a picture of his car on the back or somewhere. When I think of racing I think more of the car than the drivers. ” -davidhandberry

“ OK racing die-cut card I guess. ” -captkirk42

“ Nice looking card! Still rooting for Jimmie to get into victory lane this season. ” -mkaz80

“ Is that a 171? Hard to tell ” -NJDevils

“ Nice die-cut race car driver card. I don't collect this sport, but I like the card. ” -switzr1

“ At first I didn't like it because I thought it was a rectangle. Oddly enough, the more I looked at it and saw the odd shape, I started to really like it. Funny thing is I usually hate odd shaped cards, so I can't explain it. ” -muskie027

Hey, those are my scans! This is my 5th RCOTD. Four are NASCAR and 1 is an NFL card. Only 1 of my five is a base card. This is the 1st Insert card and 2nd die-cut card of those 5 cards. The other 2 are plain Gold Parallels. As for the card (and set) itself, I like them but wouldn't count them as a favorite. But they are very difficult to find these days. There was also a Walmart version with totally different stat numbers for each driver, also pretty hard to find.
