Year: 1990

Set: Bowman - Limited Edition (Tiffany) (Rate)

Card: #78 Craig Biggio

“ I liked this set back when it came out but as my opinion has changed I find it really boring as an adult. The stats on the back always annoyed me though. The front I would give a 4 and the back I would give a 3 and that is just because I like the coloring. Tiffany was one of the original parallels back when there was only one parallel per set which I enjoyed. Now that there are 5 - 10 parallels per set I hate them. ” -davidhandberry

“ Early revived Bowman cards I love. I am glad that Bowman (Topps technically) decided to stick with the standard 2.5" x3.5" size after their 1989 premiere slightly larger sized cards. Back in the late 80s early 90s when the "Tiffany" cards were in style I thought they were pretty cool, but as the years have gone by I find they were not really needed. ” -captkirk42

“ the big craig biggio ” -crashdavis28

“ I do enjoy Tiffany cards, though I don't have any Bowman Tiffany cards. ” -switzr1

“ Never realized they made these in Tiffany. I don't know why I never realized that. ” -muskie027

The cards have a fairly thick glossy coating and the cardstock is white instead of brownish gray (or grayish brown, depending on your point of view). They are less common than the base cards. I suspect- but don't know 100% for sure- that the interest in them comes from the fact that it's another card to chase down of  a player from a very popular era that many of us grew up with.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

I had read on a post in a group claiming only 3000 of each card in the Tiffany  hockey sets. But who knows if it’s true
