Set: Ultimate Original 6 (Rate)

Card: #23 Harry Howell

“ I love when original players get cards like these. Wish another set would come again soon. ” -Mscott713

“ I really like the back of this card. The front isn't too bad either. ” -jupiterhill

“ Decent action photo and front design. I could do without the entire top half of the back though. Show more season stats and I'd be real happy with this card. However, since this was a long retired played and HOFer at the time, I guess the info on the back works overall. That newpaper-styled top half could have been better utilized without pretending it was a newspaper though. ” -spazmatastic

“ One of the legends of my team. Sadly he passed away earlier in 2019. This set is a cool concept. It appears that for the NHL's 75th Anniversary they had an alumni game, and the players in this set are those that turned out for that game...I think that's the case anyway. The fronts are all period photos and the backs are current (1991-92 current) photos of the players in gear. I suspect it was a Legends game and not just them in old gear because some of the designs appear to be unique...I would appreciate it if someone could confirm or deny my theory. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The front is very basic. The back I like, very unusual. I find it kind of sad that a company I have never heard of has more creativity than the biggest card brand. ” -davidhandberry

“ Although I do not collect hockey cards, I love this card and the set. It just seems refreshing and clean. I don't know if there is anything to criticize. The back is great, especially with the faux newspaper presentation, presenting info as a "story." Only criticism would be the "peeling" of the page in the lower left corner. That doesn't seem to really add anything worthwhile to the design, and it would probably look better as a full picture. ” -georgecf

“ Reminds me of Upper Deck from around then. Hmm... Front team logo or name would be nice. OK he is shown in Rangers Uniform, position? Back might show that stuff...Back I don't like the newspaper look, too small of a stat section. Overall OK not great. ” -captkirk42

“ A card from a set that got lost in the many early 90's releases. It never caught on with collectors at the time and a set can likely still be had for a couple of bucks, or if you prefer, a french version exists as well! ” -baseballcardstoreca

“ One of my favorite sets ,nice to see the original six get some recognition. ” -uncaian

“ Cool concept for a set! ” -muskie027
