I have been involved in a couple of trades in the past week, that had cards missing from the other party. This post is NOT intended to single out the traders, and I have no intention of doing so. I want those people to remain friends and great trading partners. I just want to urge all traders to double check before they send cards as it is always frustrating to receive your cards and then find some or one missing. I hope I have never missed any in my shipments and trust I will be informed when I do. Easy ways to make sure you have all the cards is the checklist on the trade form, or simply make a card count and see that it matches up with the total on your trade. I try to inform the trader so that he/she can correct their inventory on the data base. From the receiving side, I have to go in to the data base and remove the cards that were supposed to be sent, and then manually add them back to the wantlist. I can understand when making several trades at once, or even one trade at a time that accidents can and will happen. I have never left negative or neutral feedback for missing cards in trades as I figure it was unintentional. Most often I will not even ask for the cards unless it was a key part of the trade, I leave that up to the other trader. Again, I am not singling out those other traders, just want everyone to doublecheck before shipping. Thanks to all who participate in this site.

It's happened to me.  Before Admin added the checkboxes, I've been on both sides of missing cards.  Was always an honest (and embarassing) oversight.  The checkboxes are a great feature to help prevent mistakes.

Im new to this site and to the online trading, when i propose a deal, how do i get the checkboxes to show up so that i can select which cards toinclude?? Probably a dumb question, but a necessary one !!

When you use the database to log FS and want list items, when you propose the trade, use the tools to select the cards out of the DB rather than just typing them in. Then when the trade gets accepted, the checkboxes will be there in the lists.

The checkboxes show up on Accepted (In Progress) trades.  They're for checking-off the cards as you pull them/package them.  Then when you receive cards you can use the checkboxes to ensure all are received.

But I wish they stayed checked! What I mean is Day 1 I pull 30/50 cards, next day I wish the check boxes were still up when I go to pull the remaining 20.

I've gotten in the habit of pulling all cards before I accept the trade. I trade on multiple sites, so this has become a neccessity to make sure that I have everything before agreeing to a trade with anyone on any site. Occassionally, cards will get missed being removed from one site when they are traded on another site. While it may take a bit longer to complete trades, at least I know I have the cards in-hand instead of accepting a trade that I can't fulfill.

I've started doing this too.  I sent a trade offer that was countered.  When I was pulling my end of the trade, I didn't have some of the cards I offered.  Horrible.  Luckily I hadn't accepted the counter and was able to fix it.

The checkboxes show up in Proposed Trades too. A trade doesn't have to be Accepted to get checkboxes for each card.

As long as a trade proposal is sent by a card search list and not a hand-typed list, the checkboxes should be there in any stage of the trade.

Thanks for the clarification.  As Adam stated, checkboxes show up when Method 2: Select Items is used.
