This is a partial list of cards I need. I have several cards for trade. I have most of my cards sorted by player.
I have baseball, football, basketball. I also have >100,000 topps baseball cards from 1983-2012 in numerical order.
Let me know if you can help
Thanks in advance,
Jim

It'd behoove you (and us) to use the database (as tedious as it may be, but very useful) and allow it to match you up with those that can meet your needs. With the years you're requesting it should not be a difficult thing to do find a trade partner.

Follow my blog - I Identify as a Card Collector. “Aslan didn't tell Pole what would happen. He only told her what to do. That fellow will be the death of us once he's up, I shouldn't wonder. But that doesn't let us off following the signs.” - Puddleglum in The Silver Chair by C. S. Lewis

Agreed with the Commish. Even if you don't want to add your large collection, you could enter those relatively small want lists, and any member could see, with a couple of clicks, if they have any of those cards you need.
-------------------------------
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

As you can see, this is my first post. How do you create a want list and how do you see other individuals want lists? Thank you, Jim.

I really think you should scroll to the bottom of the page. The FAQ section has been a GREAT help to me and may help you as well.

Yes Jim, nobody was trying to scare you off. Welcome to the site. We are all just so accustomed to the features here that it's easy to forget that a new person won't know how it works. You can enter your want list, and on your profile page, you can find members who have those same cards on their For Sale list. It simplifies it enough that it has possibly made some of us lazy, in that people might be unwilling to check those card numbers when the site can do it for us! (I'm speaking only for myself of course)
Again, welcome to the site!

Jim,
Welcome. Poke around, and find your way. It's a ton of fun.
As for creating wantlists, what you need to do is go to the set's page, and click on update collection, or go to each individual card's page. Below the images, there is a check box and an down arrown next to the check box. Clicking the down arrow will display the options for collection info for that card - you can add it to your collection, to your want list, or to a for sale/for trade list. This way, members can use the query features of having a really big database to create matches for trading/sales purposes. (I can match my FS/FT list against your wantlist, and vice versa.)
Please do check out the FAQs. Admin (and a few members) have spend a good amount of time refining them to be as helpful as possible. Additionally, we are probably the friendliest bunch of goofballs on the internet. (I use goofballs because we do play with each other from time to time, but we all have each other's back at the same time.) If you have questions, just ask on the forums. If you're still not comfortable asking on the forums (and no one is going to make fun of you, but sometimes people still feel self-conscious about asking questions publicly), feel free to e-mail me. I'm a software tester (QA) by profession so I am used to writing details steps for what to click on and what to expect to happen, so I can guide you through just about anything here. There are a couple dozen other members who on the forums on a daily (hourly in some cases) basis, who are also well-qualified to assist people. Feel free to reach out to whomever you feel most comfortable with.
Take care and enjoy learning the site.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned on (details are in my profile).

Jim,
Welcome to the site. If you still need these, I have them according to computer inventory. Lmk if you need the multiples on the 92 Fleer.

1992 Fleer-23.71.222.659x4.675x4.684.720x4
1995 Donruss-423.432.450.457
I have my wantlist here, but if not familiar with the system here, you can check it here: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?p=10958891
If you find something for me, I will walk you through the "transaction page" to set up the trade. If you don't find anything I need, no worries. Send your address in a private message. Just click on my user name, you will go to my page. Straight across from my name, you'll see "message" in blue, click it to send message. Send address and I will mail on Monday. Good luck with the site, don't mind answering beginner questions if you need any help.

I have at least 1 of each of the 1988 fleer. Please lmk, ASAP. It's a good idea to get back to us quickly, as it is a pain to go thur inventory only tp find someone else has helped out. Also If I were you, I would take the rest of the weeked end and at least enter your collection for the sets you are trying to complete. There is a reason this is the BEST card site on the net. The members really go out of their way to help out, and ADMIN has given us the tools to do the job. Maybe someday we'll be able to SELL our cards here too, (Sportlots has really done nothing to improve their site in years, and dosen't have 1 tenth of the tools) Come on ADMIN !!!
