Buy/Sell/Trade Forum

For the second tim etoday, someone has posted that they are looking to trade to complete their particular set but do not have wants or for trade lists.  Is there something they don't understand about trading like, let others know what you need and what you have for trade?

I personally cannot be bothered to trade with those who can't take the time to list what they have or want.

I see that quite a lot too.... . Either turn off that you want to trade or at least maybe enter some wants/trades please.

Please don't make me do another post like I did on the weekend..But I feel your pain..

Typically goes something like.."Really interested in ABC cards, take a look my trade list and let's see what we can do"  I then proceed to look at their for sale/trade list compared to my want list and see zero matches...Why is it up to me to match things up? Anyone can clearly see what I need from them and what they need from me..

It's not rocket science..

sometimes I will ask folks if they have any interest in items on my sale/trade list OTHER than matches, as you never know if you don't ask.

sometimes I will trade for stuff of my favorite team or player even if it is not on my specific want list (depending on what I am trading away and if I have time at the time)

Im guilty. I have some for trade which is now outdated and have no wantlist. Been so snowed under lately not had time to fix it ..

Its next on my list im going through a resorting of cards so im working on a new trade and wantlist

Sometimes, if I feel like trading, I just look at a person's tradelist, if I have cards they want, and add a few of their cards to my wantlist if I'm certain I don't have them.  I'm not maintaining much of a wantlist here anymore, as I've mentioned before, but I still need to get rid of some cards.
