I did last week when I made a trade with Karsal, who received 4 or 5 American envelopes that day and mine was the only one with a customs form. I thought I was going to get hit with the $10.50 charge but they tried to figure a work around it. My postal clerks are very helpful. But they say the problem is Canada. They dont have these issues with other countries. I'm not agreeing; just stating what I was told.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I recently sent 46 cards to PapaG321 in Canada. Used a 9-pocket page in a No.10 envelope, it was right at the 1/4" thickness maximum. Postage was $2.08. No "rigid" surcharge, no customs forms.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yeah, whoever sitll sent 4 cards for over $10 must not be a frequent forum flier as this has been detailed often recently. Not sure why this specific one was resurrected, but there are others that have the same information and more of what Chuck, Bru, and me have detailed often. If you need help on this in the future, PM me and I can tell you how to do it.

Can someone please put together a tutorial in a Word doc and request Admin to include it in the FAQs?

I completed a couple of Canadian trades within the last few weeks. First trade involved a PWE with 5 cards inserted into the cut sheet taped to a thin piece of cardboard. Was charged $1.15 at the post office. Second package involved 30 cards in a bubble envelope that I sent to karsal. I used Paypal online, filled out a small customs form, and was charged $3.12. Both packages arrived in about 10-14 days and to my knowledge to postage was due.

You do mean NO postage was due, right?
