I have over 500,000 Montreal Expos baseball cards that my wife is tired looking at. Anyone have a suggestion on where to sell this many cards.

Holy WOW, if I collected Expos cards and not Expos hats I'd bite. LOL Thankfully I only do hockey. RIP Monteal =(

Problem is that in those 500K, there has to be a lot of doubles. Might be a tough sellas one lot. If you divide them up in team sets by year or at least in lots where there are no doubles, you might get a fair amount sold.

I agree with this put them in more managable smaller lots. It should make it easier to sell them, plus you don't have to cram them all into one huge box that would cost a year's morgage to ship out. Card buyers don't want to pay through the nose on shipping. If you have some of the stars like Gary Carter, Vladimir Guerrero, Andre Dawson,Tim Raines. and the like, individual lots of their cards will go quickly. You might also want to mix them into some of the larger lots and mark them as highlights in you listings. "Lot of 500 Montreal Expos from 1980s including Gar Carter, Andre Dawson".

assuming you are in canada, have you tried local facebook yard sale/resale groups?
might be easier to meet someone with a box or two than shipping them

I am not in Canada. Originally from Montreal, but I now live in California. I think I will work on going through the cards and start by splitting them up by years. That should keep me busy for a while.

before you get in too deep (although card sorting is fun), you may want to search these forums for canada shipping comments, as it can be very expensive to ship to canada for padded envelopes and boxes. Letter sized envelopes still pretty reasonable.
of course you woutd rather ship to a US customer, but you would think that most of the demand would be in canada..

I know. It's really sad. I started off just trying to collect one of every Montreal Expos baseball cards and in doing so, got way too carried away. I now have 100 boxes of 5000 cards.
