Has anyone here ever traded with a Shawn Norris aka sportcardcollector98 from Hudson Falls New York? He requested a trade from me for a single common football card (1990 Score) and has yet to mail his card and he's no longer answering any messages. I mailed to him weeks ago. Thanks for any input.

Yes I have dealt
with him. I am a
bulk trader, and
when he asked to
trade for a single
cards, I was
reluctant because
it is so time
consuming. I always
try to help people
finish up sets when
I can (millions of
commons 1986-2014)
The second trade
did not fair as
well. I am still
waiting. He just
posted a trade last
week, I reminded
him that we still
had an open issue,
he said he didn't
remember, I cited
the trade and asked
if it jarred his
memory. I told him
he would have to
send first. I
haven't heard from
him since. Wayne

I did a trade with
him once. Had no
problems though it
did take a little
while to get the
cards from him.

After stumbling onto this site, I started catalogiing all of my cards and now have an idea of what I am looking for to complete some sets. ... is it difficult on here to make trades? do you post what you're looking for and then sit and wait?

I suggest contacting the admins. I had a deal go south and they suspended the account of the other person till the issue was resolved. It's amazing how fast people will respond when they can't access their collection on here.

In response to hall, this is my first trade on here so I'm not completely sure how it works but it has definitely left a sour taste for the trading here. I'm sure there are some good people on here but it feels like I've been screwed over by this person.
I will wait a few more days and see if Shawn Norris replies and then I will most certainly contact the admins. In the meantime, please be wary of this person. It especially bugs me as my name is Shawn too and it gives a bad name to Shawns

I have had a couple successful trades on here and a sale, so for the most part, the people on here are awesome, if not just good.
As far as how to work out a trade, it would be the same as just about anywhere, see what they have that you want, see what they want that you have - propose a trade - via the transaction tool (which I have yet to use) or thru private messages (my preference).
And if we haven't shunned all guys named "Ray" yet, we'll be kind to any Shawn we see.

Yeah, it's not the site's fault or the people here. There should be some kind of feedback system implemented, but this really isn't a "trading site" per se. There are people like him everywhere.....it never fails. They find all the good sites and make people hate trading online because they're scumbag scammers. On the other hand, I haven't done an online trade in a long time, but was a member of other sites and had/have feedback from them, but it was so long ago it may not matter. You have to trust in order to trade unfortunately. How about a feedback system? Maybe Admin can come up with something simple?

I've had 2 successful trades with him, but always with his "I'll send once I get your's" policy and always for a single card. The last 2 times he asked for a trade, I was in the middle of much larger trades so I asked him to wait until those were finished. Kind of glad I did now.
So far I've had 7 successful trades here, but those 2 trades were the most difficult. Everyone else I've dealt with here has been very good trading partners and hope they feel the same about trading with me.
