Year: 1986

Set: Topps (Rate)

Card: #613 Roy Smalley

“ Roy Smalley III played from 1975 through 1987 with the Rangers, Twins (twice), Yankees and White Sox. Career: .257 average, 163 home runs and 694 RBI. He was named an All-Star in 1979 while with the Twins and won a World Series ring with the Twins in his final Major League season (1987). His father, Roy Smalley Jr. played in the Majors from 1948-1958 with the Cubs, Braves and Phillies. ” -carthage44

“ 1984: Yankees/White Sox? He was traded for Doug Drabek. So the trade involved a Cy Young winner for a clutch World Series Game 1 pinch-hitting double...just not with either team involved in the trade. ” -UNC_Samurai

“ Pretty decent set. Only problem was the off center cuts that were made. I have 100s of cards from this set that are so off center they are basically trash. Thanks Topps ” -addysdaddy

“ Reminds me of the poor term papers I handed in when I waited until the last minute. This designer must have done the same. ” -NJDevils
