Year: 1992-93

Set: Fleer Drake's (Rate)

Card: #16 Joe Dumars

“ One of my all-time favorite set designs, and one of the first promo sets to enter my NBA collection. Can't beat that. Scan's a little washed out though. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I remember basketball.... whatever happened to it? ” -SFC Temple

“ I don't normally like side banners, but I checked the set out because there was a strange appeal to me. Maybe since the banners aren't parallel or because they are paired that it works for me. Whatever, I have now placed the Olajuwon, O'Neal, Robinson, Drexler, and Worthy cards on my Want List. ” -Sportzcommish

“ What makes this card a Fleer Drake's version? Looks like the base version. ” -carthage44

“ When I first saw these I hated them just because they were 1990s Basketball. I actually like time for the most part now. Not sure but I think I have all my bullets from this set. Maybe maybe not. ” -captkirk42

“ Almost too complicated ” -Bargunmaster

“ Joey D. Awesome player!! ” -cjjt

“ Extremely nice card, especially for a Drake's issue. Isn't this the same design for the base Fleer set? What makes this a "Drake's" card. I don't see a Drake's logo anywhere. ” -muskie027

“ I believe I still have some of these under the mountain of boxes here. It's good to be the RCOTD. The boys and I ate a lot of these cakes. ” -NJDevils

“ I like the fleer sets from this year. Clear set and team markings placed well on the bottom. The player name could be better done, but its not bad. The stats on back are a little small for my taste. There is space available that they could have used. But overall its a great card. ” -cnangle

“ The original bad boys, enough said. ” -UKboogie

The Drake's cards had different numbering and they have an exclusive checklist. It's only a 55 card set.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Other than that (the numbering) it looks like there is no difference between the regular base and the Drake's issue. This is where an accurate checklist is crucial.

This is a nice set... solid action shots and I really enjoy the subset in this set.

Better than the Tony's Pizza version of this set, which was unnumbered (and also not logo'd). It drives me crazy when there are no numbers.
