Do we get points for setting teams ?!?

That would be part of the monthly points bump. No one (except Admin) knows what percentage of a point for each team set. I couldn't care less about the points for them, I just hate seeing all of the sets here that have missing teams for the cards. I've added them for several sets the past few days just while adding/removing cards to/from my collection or adding random scans.

I try to do the same for entire sets even without scans uploaded. It can be tricky though. Especially in NASCAR when drivers changed Series' or teams before or during a year and in the NFL when it comes to RC's and knowing if they are shown in NCAA or NFL uniforms and traded players and knowing what the card says is their team.

As for points, check your points total on the 30th and then wait to see what it changes to on the 1st or 2nd of July. You also get points for adding notes (such as AU or MEM or SN), as well as correcting card numbers. I think there are a couple of others but I can't think of them right now.

I have to say some prob. dont care about setting teams, which is thier perogative. I added teams to '98 pinn. mint racing yester. & teams are right there on the front of the cards.

Thank you both for adding (and/or fixing) teams in ANY of the sports (and to anyone else who has done this).

That was actually what finally got me to register here. I saw several Phillies cards with teams (or there was one with the wrong team), and I had to register to be able to fix it. And now, I've hleped do a lot of different things. :)

But, yes, getting the teams correct is great and VERY helpful for the members (and hopefully future members) who are team collectors.
