Didn't pay attention to the URL, and only read mostof the article. I'll feel the appropriate amount of shame for not doing due diligence.

But yeah, point is totally valid. Very frustrating to catch someone on their lunch break cherry picking packs that could be bought by a kid that would get very excited about their new hobby.

Personally, I've done a lot of work with developmentally delayed people, so I spend a lot of time in stores like Target. And when I get a chance, I always try to insult the guys (it's always guys) who are there cherry picking packs. I usually use the line "Hey, why don't you leave a few good cards for kids so that we have a hobby to enjoy in ten or 15 more years, dick."

But people like that are usually pretty oblivious.

The only kids I know only want pokemon. Kids these days could care less about sports or anything to do with any cards besides pokemon. My son who is 31 says collecting pieces of cardboard or paper is stupid. It may not be true of all, but it's the attitude I encounter.
