I'm personally insulted that Panini thinks that collectors want cards like this. Off-hand, I can think of a football set and a wrestling set that used "art" cards like this within a base set, and I hate them.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

this isn't the first time a MFR put out player sketches- i cant remember who did in the past, but they are out there. i guess it interest some people

I am so tired of Sketch cards in sports releases! This will be a garbage card IMO. If we are talking about a comic book based set or a movie or cartoon set with a sketch by one of the creators or illustrators, that would be okay with me. If athletes are drawing on cards, it needs to be their signature/autograph, not a cartoon they hope happens in the future. Even if it was a "Tag" like a graffitti tag, it would be more interesting to me than this card.

As far as content though, it's pretty funny. For those who don't watch, these two players have a sort of feud going on, even though Ayton has yet to play in a game. So the fact that it's clearly meant to be Embiid made me laugh.
