It will work for all US sellers to find the cheapest rate to you, but may not work outside the US or wherever Paypal has shipping agreements for a discounted price.  paypal.com/shiplabel should take them to the same place also, if they're having issues with the /shipnow.  Good luck!

That's exactly why us US guys try to ship as envelopes to Canada. Once it gets to a package size, you have to fill out a Customs paper and then declare a value to the package. A package alone jumps the shipping price ridiculously but then the value listed on the Customs form jumps the price even more. I haven't sent anything outside of the US and Canada, but I'm sure this works the same way going to any other country, especially if it's crossing into other continents. A few months ago, I went to mail a package (in a bubble mailer envelope) to Canada. As a package, the price was $16. As an envelope (which it just barely fit the criteria), it shipped for less than $5.

You guys are lucky as now on eBay us aussies not only get hit with high postage through the shipping program (I now look at sellers who don’t use this) but we now also pay goods and sales tax that adds another 10%

normally I try to buy from Burbank cards as they other shipping at around $6 no matter how much you buy

i have looked at the mailbox option but even then there costs to Australia are high

I shipped just under 200 cards to Canada over a week ago using PayPal for $5.83. It was sent in a large brown envelope filled with five 9-card sheets. I've been checking the delivery and so far it's moving. I don't think it's arrived, though. So, if this works, surely at least to Canada I love the options now to make larger deals. I don't know if it's the same coming back, so I'm sure that would still have a bearing on trades between the countries.

If anybody finds a cheap way to ship outside the US, please share. Because of excessive shipping charges it becomes a disadvantage to sell outside the US [Canada excluded, that I can do within reason].

I recently, had a buyer from the Russian Federation purchase a book on eBay, after back and forth messages, we canceled.....no cheap shipping method.

I found these options in Paypal shipping when trying to return a single PSA graded card (~3 oz.) to a UK seller:

1. First Class Mail International - Large Envelope - $4.16 (No insurance option)
2. Priority Mail International - Small Flat Rate Box or Padded Flat Rate Envelope - $32.55 (automatically includes tracking and $200 insurance)

He decided insurance wasn't that important, option 1 was a bubble mailer.

Correct... there is a way to avoid the import charges:

- Stay under the $25 limit
- Have people send your item as a gift on the customs form. This is considered cheating and I never ask to do it.
Some Asian sellers will do it anyway to do you a favor.
- Get on a plane and stuff your bags with cards when on holiday in the US.

Taiwan is also a great place to buy cards indeed.

I've been out of the states for quite a while, currently in Abu Dhabi.  I have stuff shiped from the states quite often but use a courrier service. It's website is Shopandship.com  basically they give me a physical adress in about 40 different countries. Wherever I order from i have sent to my address in that country, they then ship directly to me. A package from the states to me here in abu dhabi usually takes 5-7 days depending on weekends.  I pay about 4$ for a 100gm envelope. 500gm pachage is about 10$ and 1000gm is about 18$.  It is same prices from almost any country coming to me, except australia where the rates jump by about 25%.
