One pet peeve I have, especially on eBay, is when a seller puts a card up for sale, with a best offer price. So you do your research, make a reasonable offer, only to have it rejected, or expire, with no contact from the seller. Now I'm not saying they have to except my offer, but if you're going to sell something with a best offer, please be prepared to send a counter-offer back to me. Don't leave the buyer hanging. If you don't want to negotiate, then sell it as a "Buy It Now". Or, start the bidding at a price that you're comfortable with, in case only one person bids. This way you are not wasting the buyers time.
One more thought about "Best Offer". When sellers post a card for $2.99 or B/O. Sometimes that card listed for $2.99 is only worth $2.00 or less. So you offer $2.00, only to automatically be told you must bid at least $2.99 . If you want $2.99 then sell it as "Buy It Now" for $2.99. It really isn't that complicated.
