Don't put an end date on it. Then it just stays as a goal, which is completeable. I want to put together the Red Foil parallel set of 2014 Topps. I doubt I will get them all, but its still a goal. And you just never know what will pop up in the future.

Don't rule out the possibility of a trade. Maybe you'll pull some crazy scarce HOFer card from a current pack and use it as trade bait someday! ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

That's one thing that always kept me from becoming a set collector, CAD. The idea of spending $$$ on some card of a player I despised to be able to reach my goal. But, I made the leap recently. I had just become so bored with the hobby, and needed to make a change to keep it interesting. So I'm a set collector now.

stay with it.. like others said, it may take another 20yrs, but when you get it complete and your time clock runs out, that will be a great thing to look back on for the memory! -------------------------------
