I'm sorry if this seems like an asisine question, but is there any place online that tracks or has a listing of the differences in thickness between sets? I know here, for some of the oversized card sets, the measurement info has been entered but I don't think the thickness has ever been listed. Would Cardboard Connection or BaseballCardPedia or some other place have that information? Thank you.

I don't think anyone tracks it. It generally only gets mentioned when the only difference between sets is when one is thick and one thin, like the 2013-14 Panini Titanium NBA set. The cards look exactly the same between hobby and retail but the hobby cards are thick and the retail are thin. 

I'd actually love that! I hate getting a card for my player focused binder, for example, only to find out it's too thick for the page. And card dimensions, as well - yes, as Billy Kingsley mentioned, some of the oversized sets mention it, but it's a pain when fairly modern sets use sizes that are JUST off of standard. It seemed to be very common with minor league baseball sets, such as the 1984 Chong Supermarkets Modesto A's, or the 1987 CMC AAA sets, were the card is standard width but just a bit too tall for penny sleeves or pages. 

When the card thickness can be found, the Release Notes would be the place to put the information.  Unfortuneately, it seems the card companies don't provide this information. I've searched for the 2005 Bazooka Gold and 2007 Bowman Gold football, but couldn't find any sites that state the actual point thickness.  Using my digital caliper the 2005 Bazooka Gold are 50 pt and the 2007 Bowman Gold are 55 pt.

It's most annoying when you want to buy toploaders.  I keep a set of toploaders, each labeled with it's thickness. I can then quickly gauge my cards and know what size I need to buy.

LOL great minds they say Chuck!! Got my digicaps right here in the office for that exact same reason. Also have the sheet from BCW with the thickness guide. But yes point size and card dimensions listed would be an asset.
