Even though I didn't do nearly as much with cards as usual during 2019, I did make progress at times during the year. The 2 main goals in my head for 2019 dealt with the auction haul from October 2018. The first was to sell enough to pay my Mom back for the money she spent at that auction (did that in February and then some extra for me on top of that). The second was to get all those cards catalogued here (kinda completed that one - I haven't added EVERY hand-collated set that was in there, but everything else is listed here). I also got at least half of those cards merged into my existing collection.
Since I didn't make any other actual goals, I looked back at my 2018 goals to see how I progressed on those.
#1 - My Jimmie Johnson collection: Still haven't hit 20 AU's yet, but added 3 more to get to 18. Moved the total cards in my JJ collection up to 1478. Definitely expecting to pass 1500 cards in 2020.
ALSO, my Mark Martin collection is very close to 900 cards now (up about 250). I doubt I hit 1000 in 2020 unless I don't clear out any more duplicates (96 of them).
#2 - Scans needed on TCDB: All sports currently clear - except NFL, which is down to less than 250 cards now.
#3 - Carolina Panthers - Total collection is around 2250 now (only added about 150 new ones this year).
#4 - STL Cardinals (MLB): Don't have an exact count right now, but it's somewhere over 6400 (increase of 800 or so).
#5 - NHL cards: ALL cards were added to TCDB and a few hundred traded or sold. I wasn't expecting that, but I only have a couple thousand hockey cards. That made it pretty easy when I focused on it.

Considering that I wasn't trading for about 7 of the last 12 months OR buying cards (boxes or singles) pretty much all year, that's pretty good progress.
I WILL set some 2020 goals though.
#1 - Get back to trading and buying cards.
#2 - Get ALL missing scans of my NFL cards added here.
#3 - Get the rest of my NBA cards added (and scanned if needed).
#4 - Hit 100 trades and feedback.
#5 - Get to 60K points on the site (just for the heck of it at this point - just passed 56K this month).
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
