As far as my knowledge of the site's guidlines go, this PID as well as 166084, shouldn't be here. Stadiums do not get a PID unless it is a proper name (Memorial Stadium, Wrigley Field, etc.). Has that changed? Teams don't get a PID at all - perhaps the players shown are linked if it's feasible, but the team itself is not. Nor is "Team Card" or "Stadium Card" an appropriate PID. That's why tags were created.
Correct me if I'm wrong please. Otherwise, what's the best course of action to correct this?

Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Yes you are correct, generic terms, such as "Stadium Card", do not get PIDs.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I share your understanding of the PID guidelines for these. Ultimately the entries all need to be changed to the specific venue PIDs or team TIDs, with new ones added as needed and the current PIDs deleted. I'd keep the current PIDs in place until then as a way of keeping track of what still needs revision. So far as I know, they have to be done manually, one by one.

That's what I thought I would be hearing. I was hoping there would be a quick way to do it but I suppose that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it?

Right. If it was a situation where there were 2 PIDs for the same person or 1 PID that needed to split for 2 people it's a relatively simple fix, but here there are (or should be) PIDs for each of the multiple venues so it will need more effort. Also, there is no guarantee that this won't happen again in the future. I've addressed some similar issues in Nonsport that sometimes have been undone by people who don't know the Site's rules.

All the advice you've seen is correct. How each of these cards got THIS PID is crazy.
Please remember if you work on this, but I'll be doing this as I watch TV tonight, the Arena/Stadium names go in the "Last Name" field, and nothing is in the first name.

Stadium Card gone.
Working on TBD. (This is slow because I'm adding them to my list before removing the PID from the cards.)
Team Card is gone too.
I wish I could see who created these PIDs. They should be informed so they don't do it again. This is a TON of work.

Tip of the cap to you Dan. I had some stuff come up last night so I wasn’t able to get to them. While I can see where it may be useful to have all the stadium cards together (maybe someone collects cards of stadiums), as I mentioned, that appears to be the purpose of tags.
Well done!

TBD PID is now gone as well. There were several sets that were completely TBD. This is NOT acceptable. Also, adding TBD as a PID is not acceptable.

Glad the heat is finally off 'ole ~Bob~, at least for now. Not wishful thinking, but members are starting to notice there are a boatfull of inaccuracies. Many of my issues involved "wrongful" entries as well as unclear directions. All's good for now.
Happy B-Day Miss T, can't believe it.....18 !
