I can tell you I dropped the box, watched it tumble forward, as in landing on its top (I must have grabbed it one-handed by the end but I don't remember, clearly wasn't paying attention), and holding only the cardboard top, chucked it at the furnace duct while practically laughing at myself... all in about, let's say seven seconds. My profile photo, my first ever as a four-month member to date, I'll bet you was taken two or three minutes later. I took a breath, went upstairs, got the smartphone camera, and decided I would share it with you guys, as it sat, marched back downstairs and started shooting before cleaning anything up. I knew I had screwed up and decided only the cardboard lid needed to suffer (thankfully my furnace won the battle; no dents) and that my primary loss would be the next hour or so; just a little time... so why not document it for a little fun?
I quickly realized, within probably 15 seconds, that the TCDB guys would get a kick out of it, and two to three hours later, I put the "dropbox" ... get it? Drop box... links live and started this thread. Thank you all for playing along. I feel famous.
Anybody want some 1984-1993 Topps baseball cards? They survived!
