Ok, I am also in the infant stages as is Bob. I got some great information. I want my Ozzie collection for personal use, but about 4 or five of them help complete sets. So I will just leave them in both collections. This is why TCDB has become my favorite card collecting site. I have tried to do more on the site to learn more about it and y'all can expect more questions. Thanks again

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Best way to learn. Also, there is an option to search the forums to see if something has been covered before. There's a lot of people here who know a lot of stuff, and a few like me who think we know a lot more than we actually do!!!

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Learning new things daily....What option to search the forum to see if the question has been addressed? And how do that, my friend?

Bob, if you click "More" underneath the first five forum posts, there is a "Search" link with a magnifying glass to the upper right - that will take you to a search screen. I'm not sure how specific you can or need to be as I've only used it a few times. I'm not sure if it covers a broad range of possible results like Google, or if it only searches for words you specifically type in. Good feature to play around with though, as it can help immensely.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Little off topic but is there a way to sort the My Collections?

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Not yet but it is in the New Features suggestions.

I looked for the best post to toss this out.
If you are physically reorganizing, new rooms, recaptured rooms etc. I needed more shelf space to unclutter my collections. So, Walmart online was my choice, bookcases, kinda cheap but looks good for holding cards. @$27.00 each. [@30"x72"] Can't beat it for the price and free shipping. Remember, these are not strong enough to hold stacked monsters but wax boxes, sets, albums...perfect. ~Bob~
