New to the site and just put in all 26,000 cards. Is there a way to export your collection to a CSV or excel file? All I see is the print to PDF function.
Thanks!

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

This is the feature that TCDB needs to add the most.

I actually used the HTML's for each set and copied and pasted them into an excel file. A few cleanup moves and I used that excel file to track my cards for each set. Highlighting the cards I have and leaving the ones I need clear.

This question seems to come up every so often. The reality is that this function wouldn't benefit the database imo.

The copy/paste/cleanup into Excel is very easy to do. I also make sure I update Excel with any added sets every couple of months. I then move the Excel to Sheets. That gives me 2 copies, Excel and Sheets. In Sheets now I can access my collection wherever and whenever. Works great. And all my collections etc are naturally on TCDB.

HTML for the set? Is that when you open up in print mode or when you open collection summary?

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

What do you mean?
Wouldn't it encourage members to keep adding their new cards to the database knowing that they will not lose those records in the event of a site shutdown?

It wouldn't benefit the "database", "tradingcarddb.com", Admin, the owners. With such a capability it is conceivable that the entire database can be copied (stolen) and transfered to someone else's website/database.

I'm guessing, if they can only maintain it here, that's more ad revenue for the site that would be lost if exporting to Excel and maintaining updates there. I get both perspectives, but don't know if more members with fewer visits >= fewer members with frequent visits from a revenue standpoint.
