That card from a Shopko blaster is a win!
Mine was 1996-97 Skybox Autographics of Andrew Declercq. That was something, back in the days when most products didn't have autos. When I got back into collecting years later, my first was a Jerious Norwood from 2008 SP Authentic.

I am going to say my first Auto was Carl Erskine from 2010-2011 Topps. It might be from 2008. I certainly remember the last. It was two weeks ago. 2019 Topps 1984 Acuna numbered to 150. It was sweet.

Congrats on the pull. My first was 1997 bowman Gene Kingsale. Certified black ink. I bought the pack from the local card shop at the time.

Congrats on the pull.....I keep all of the auto's I pull, regardless of team for my pc. That said, if someone sees one in my collection and wants it, I would move it for a comperable Phillies auto.

Congratulations! It’s a great feeling, and one that feeds the addiction joy of collecting.
My first was an on card José Abreu Cuban National Team card from I got from one of those $20 for 20 pack secondary market boxes from Target. It made up for the 5 cartoonish Triple Play packs that came with it.

Peace and cards, David Building up baseball sets slowly but, well, slowly. Residence in New England has no bearing on my favorite teams, players, or how I pronounce "card." Forgave my dad for putting his '52 Mantle in his bike spokes, but not my brother for plastering his room with my Star Wars stickers.

I don't know why I have so many Freddy Garcia and David Legwand cards.

I'm kinda surprised by how many replies here mention how few AU cards they have. I have around 170 of them in 3 sports and most were pulled or traded for with AU cards that I did pull. I did buy a portion of them individually, but maybe only 25-30% of them. I've also traded AU's for non-AU cards on several occassions. None of this is even considering the IP AU cards I own (which aren't many).

@NSEndo, not gonna lie, I love those random boxes from Walmart and Target. The cartoon Triple Play cards kind of rubbed me the wrong way when I first got them but the 3 2007 Topps boosters in the box made up for it. I got a cartoony Miguel Cabrera that I really liked though and I'm kind of warming up to the cartoon cards because of it. Not something I would go out of my way to collect but I still like having them in my collection haha.
