Anyone else getting killed by the new postal zone rates? I mailed two rack packs to Michigan. Prior to the increase, it would cost $3.75. Today...$5.35.

This was first class padded envelope. I think only first class letters are not zoned.

Yep, I have to check where someone is located before accepting a Best Offer now since the $3 shipping charge I have set up on eBay doesn't cover it in many cases. Thanks for the reminder to update my shipping charges.

I sent to TN from Mi and had the same bump in price. Who wants to do the analysis to find the best price per card being sent out?

All I know is that I usually start my rack pack auctions at $7.99 and will have to start and $9.99 to cover postage. Here's where being in Kansas is a good thing (not that it usually isn't). Not going to break down shipping costs per zone. I guess this is where the USPS is trying to make up the money it has been losing on Amazon shipping.

Is the post office really losing money though? Every time I go there, I'm in line behind people shipping large boxes and packages and whatever. With everyone and their brother selling stuff on ebay, etsy, or whatever, it seems the P.O. should be doing fine. I say this without looking at their financial statements, so I probably shouldn't base much on what I see at the P.O. in a city of 8,100.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

PayPal shipping, Joe, thtat's the way to go, at least that's what I know, unless someone else says no.

I don't have a printer. Seems they crap out the day after warranty expires, at least for me.
