Updating my Want List I noticed in these peculiar sets - primarily with Documentary, but with the seemingly similar scenario (nice alliteration) in Timeline - in their treatment of RCs.

I believe I know the reason for the way RCs are noted in Documentary, but am still seeking clarity.

In Documentary, for example, Evan Longoria's #3081 through #4881 cards are noted as RCs in one of two poses. The set continues #4910 through #4948 and those are not noted as RCs. Is that because those are referring to the post-season?

Timeline, though, seems to treat them differently as #65, #113, #311, #336, and #361 show as RCs, around #180 & #303 which aren't designated as rookie cards. Why?

They make no sense and don't seem to follow the "official" rules.  Only one card in a base set is supposed to have the RC.  To me this type of set shouldn't have any RCs.

I think the set itself is ridiculous, too.

It definitely is!  As a player collector it's annoying to track down multiple cards that all have the same front image, plus the same number of Gold parallels.  It's rare for me to hate a set like this, but it's one of the few garbage products UD produced.
