Watching him eat 30 year old gum and spotting a reverse negative on a card as he pulls it out of a pack is pretty nutty.

Very entertaining. How can you not like Pete Rose?

He ate the gum!
That was a great video. Thanks for sharing.
I'm not a baseball fan, but everytime I see Pete Rose I want to be one.

Oh my goodness, that was hysterical! Thanks for posting. I was always a fan of Pete, even before he came to Philly. When he came to Philly, I became a bigger fan of his. Then, when I was living in Boca Raton, FLA, I was right around the corner from his restaurant, which he did his radio show from (this was 1993-1994 time frame), so I would see him there once in a while. The amount of baseball knowledge he has is incredible. And he's funny (and juvenile) as well. :)

The end was hilarious! I won't say I can't believe he ate the gum, but showing it in his mouth was a funny surprise. It's amazing how much Pete still remembers about the players he played with and against. How ironic that the last card was HOFer Molitor.

Really entertaining. Didn't have a bad thing to say about any of those guys, even the ones whose talent levels were well below his. And you wouldn't think he was 77 years old watching that.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
