Lesson learned i suppose. What to do with those cards now? Trash? I would hate for  someone to wind up with them.

I would ask for refund from store if they are able to be contacted. And after that is resolved (or you give up),  I would write reprint on back and keep as a reminder of the story

Yes, definitely mark them somehow so no one else gets taken. So sorry to hear this.

I agree with Mark that if possible I'd approach the store owner you purchased from for a refund or huge discount based on your findings.

As an aside, though, this reminded me of a sermon I once heard from a good friend of mine who was preaching on the Psalms. He said that some of the Psalms are prayers we'd love to say but we're afraid to ask for things like, "Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked." Sigh. I just hope you get some of your money back, Jake.

If it has Mantle's face on it, there are people out there who would buy it, even as a reprint. Maybe you could scrounge a few bucks out of it? I'm really sorry to hear that, forgeries stink.
