After 4+ years on the TCDB [years on other sites as well] and 50+ years of collecting. Things will have to change.

1. SETS: Whether building or buying, From 1990s to 2019, the task is impossible. I used to add 1 set of each maker/year back in the day, can't do it now. Resolution: Add just one Fave or at least collectible set per year/collection

2. SPORTS and NON-SPORTS and all the rest: Trying to collect ALL SPORTS and NON-SPORTS etc. is a monumental task. Resolution: Something has to GO. I decided to reduce the collection by trading/selling my Hockey and Basketball Cards. Although I have kept HOFERs, notable RCs, ERRs/VARs/CORs and Inserts that I had. Set up  separate Collections [maybe binders.]

3. TEAMS and PLAYERS: I only collect a few. A'S, EAGLES, Peyton Manning and a building collection of SEATTLE PILOTS. However with my huge inventory I can probably make decent collections of most players and teams. Binders could be my answer here too.

4. ERRs/VARs/CORs Cards. One of my passions, I have a great Collection, but as I continually add cards I notice more and more from the '90s to 2019. I'm just not sure I can keep up, and SPs that's another problem. Members are very reluctant to sort and trade these cards. Tough call

#s 5-10 in their own way are resolved or close to.

5. STICKERS: I have a decent collection and handle on these. Mostly inexpensive and not overly hard to secure.

6. RCs, STARS: Again I have lotsa inventory at least up to the '90s, maybe more.

7. SMALL BOX SETS and ODDBALLS: Luv these, have a good collection and I will add as I find them.

8. VINTAGE anycard: Always looking to add by trade or buy. 

9. OTHER COLLECTIBLES: Luv my many and varied items. Although many are frowned upon by members and not supported on the TCDB I will find a way of displaying and describing them. Therefore, I need to spend valuable time on my websites. Not resolved but planned action is at work

10. INVENTORY: 4+ rooms of cards, Way to many to keep up with. My PCs are still rounding into shape. But what about the DUPES+? I have another account [dupesaplenty] where I am slowing adding the massive inventory. of monster boxes. When requested, I trade or sell [cheaply] lots of cards. I can probably complete most of your collections from mid '70s-mid '90s.

I'm open to any dialogue, questions, comments, forum posts, PMs whatever. The change is a necessity, if i wish to trade/sell in a proper manner; 4 years have taught me that my organization needs to improve.to maintain active trading lanes. Also to be happy and satisfied.

YES, included in my collections are also My SANTA Cards and TEAM LOGOs Plus. Forgot to mention them.

I decided a while back to no longer collect baseball sets as I do Cubs team sets as well. I figured a team set from each set was a big enough thing to go after. I have been moving the sets over to my trade list and keeping/filling my Cubs team sets. I do have a few football sets I've not decided to purge yet and I'm holding off on a decision on Basketball for now. I do enjoy Non Sport sets and have actually picked up a few here and there. 

I am also working on making binders for all my base Cubs team sets which has been a huge effort. I leave spaces for the cards/sets I need. I am nearing the end of this project thank goodness and I look forward to filling the binders with trades from here and elsewhere. 

Scale back to what is manageable. If something is worth doing it is worth doing it right. You should find more enjoyment and less frustration than dealing with 4 rooms of cards. 

Purge Bob..I'd go crazy knowing I had 4 rooms of cards (my wife would never let me have that many cards though to begin with)..Circumstances have dictated that my collection is now contained in 6 medium size plastic totes (the sets in the appropriate size BCW boxes...I've also given up on many sets I was wanting to complete and am really only focused on 1970's Baseball/Football and 1970s/1980's hockey..

I still have a large trade pile but I think things are more manageable and I am getting cards that I truly want from folks..
