Would you rather have every card in your collection in worse than NM condition, or never be able to get closer than one card short of whatever set, team set or player you collect?
I’d rather have every card less than perfect than never be able to finish a set.

I'm not huge on condition. For older cards as long as its not pretty much destroyed and I need it I'll take it. Newer ones easier to replace.

Yes! OK I'll pick #1 having all cards less than perfect. I'm used to older cards being not so pretty.
I am sometimes surprised when I look at some of my older cards that I swear were in horrible shape only to find out they are barely even scratched, or maybe that they are slightly off-center (maybe that was why I had mentally noted some were in poor shape?). I guess in my younger days I was more picky about condition and what constituted "damage".

I want to complete the Set. Creases, Bad Corners and Wax Stains bother me. I will keep a Card with those Conditions on my Wantlist to try and Upgrade. Off Center does not bother me and I actually like Miscut.

I have no real expectation that I will complete everything I'm working on, but I can control the condition of my cards, at least after I get them. I'd choose option 2. I think not quite complete would make me less crazy than everything in less than NM.

I would fall into the category of nearly any condition in order to complete a set and as some have already mentioned it takes a lot for me to throw away any card that I come across, short of pretty much "destroyed" and even then I would probably give it a second look...

You should submit a new feature to be able to log half cards ;)
