I'm sanctioning myself. I'm going to stop making trades for awhile to concentrate on organizing my collection and inventory. I'm really mad at myself because when I reopened for trading about two months ago I made it a goal to be 100% accurate with what I offer. And I'd been keeping up with that goal. Until today. I messed up with a trade with one of my favorite partners. Thankfully it was not a major issue and I've offered a resolution, but still it was a mistake. 

I don't know how long it will take, but I'm estimating at least a month. 

(jimetal7212 we're fine and our deal is ready if it meets with your okay. bkim, if you wish to hold off on what you were proposing that is fine with me.)

Got it. Was going to work on it this weekend so I can get out the door Monday. Coincidental posting as I'm going to be doing the same thing once I get back from my travels.

I think this is one of the few hobbies where 20 minutes after you have completely organized everything,  you can't find something you are looking and it gets exponentially worse every day thereafter.   And it continually repeats the cycle.

Preaching to the choir! lol. I got myself down to 2 trades + 2 offers + 2 promises and a mix of bulk shipping stuff........That should sound real good, RIGHT? NO, I still have a mess! My 2 trades have lingered forever, I feel bad I can't finish them off, What's wrong with me? [other than having 100s of other daily distractions.] Every week I set my mind to finishing up before starting new.......just never happens.

For what it's worth,,,AGAIN,,, My apologies, I'm sorry, you are not forgotten just mixed up in my mess.

A couple of months back- probably last year sometime, now that I think about it- I deleted my entire tradelist and re-entered everything into a new collection under my main account. It made things much better. Still managed to mess something up and lose a card here or there, but better than it had been.

Already have a Traders collection, but so out of whack I feel like an a$$ some days. I failed to verify several trades (cards pulled from my collection) so I put myself into a bind. Tired of saying sorry to traders, no excuses. Doing what Billy stated, delete all and restart 

I am also a member of the embargoed club. I took my trade list down a while ago, and sadly it will be a while before it comes back up.

Looks like I'm on great company.

I'm not having to start from scratch. It's really a systematic issue that I have because except for a few stragglers here and there, everything is in its place. Some sets need to be in order, but at least the cards are together, whereas a few months ago they were scattered not only in boxes, but in boxes in different states. 

Sandyrusty continues to be a huge help to me and I'm using much of what he's shared with us and me in particular. I've had to adjust it due to storage logistics, but his system is what's helped me tremendously. But it's me not implementing the minutiae during transactions that's caused me to step back. It's like when something goes wrong I can readily see why Bru (sandyrusty) does what he does.

Havng said all that I can feel secure that if I were to trade baseball and football only, I'd be fine, but I have tons of basketball, hockey, and some non-sport that needs my attention and I need this break to get those organized so that I can not only trade them, but trade for them, at least basketball.

I think I have a solution. Everyone send me all your cards, I'll spend the next few months holed up in my card room getting everything organized, pleading with my wife through the closed door as she leaves me that I just have one more stack that I need to get through, and when I'm done I can trade them all back to you. That way, you won't have to embargo yourselves because you won't have anything to trade, in a few months you'll have so many packages come through the mail that you'll have something to occupy those long and cold winter nights, I'll finally have that long thick beard I've always wanted, and my wife will be so impressed with the beard and clean card room that she'll practically beg me to take her back! I might even be able to get my job back too. It'll be a sacrifice, for sure, but you can never care too hard.
