First, hello everyone!! Work has been crazy, and falling deep in my anxiety/anti social behavor, so havn't been online in a bit.,..
Looks like I have a new set of Gaming cards I am collecting... My Goodwill had 4 tins of Chaotic cards, looked like they were sealed unopened tins of 24 cards each, for $3. They were behind the glass display case and I waited 30 minutes while multiple employees walked by me making eye contact but ignoring me... By the time someone came to the case to help me I was about to walk off and didn't want to spend any more time examining them, so I just said "I'll take those" and left without opening them..
Got home and the tins were being used to store someones whoole collection. Original packing the tins were more than 2/3 full of plastic packing material that had been taken out and discarded... All in all, these 4 tines were packed with over 500 cards, all in NM/Mint condition, including a lot of the Super Rare ones... I thought I would get less than 100 cards to add to my for trade list, instead I got a ton that I really like, so now I'm collecting this set...

The checklists here don't seem to match my cards, and I watched a few videos of pack openings that show my cards are what actually came in the packs... The images on here all show cards missing the code in the code block (every card had an individual code so you could register it for the online game), so I believe the checklists here and images were taken from the Chaotic webside. That website closed down in 2009, but from what I have found on the Chaotic circles online, their checklists/card images were less accurate that Panini checklists, so that would make sense for the discrepancies... As I build my collection of these, I will see if I can fix some of the erros on the checklists, but 1 set looks like the whole checklist may need to be deleted and started from scratch...

Re: the scans on the checklists. I did a quick check and the few that I checked the scans posted by member "bobwalsh1969" are the ones with the blank where the codes should be. Maybe he blanked them out to protect his own codes he was using. The other scans I saw some with codes were posted by member "NIgel Taylor" so it seems to vary some from whoever uploaded their scans. It also varies with whichever set you are looking at in the database.
I realize you are a fairly new member to the site and probably haven't gotten to the user permissions level to be able to add scans. This site prefers scans of the real cards, not images "borrowed" from the card maker's website. Many card images found on those sites are prototypes and sometimes are not a true representation of the real cards. So yeah we frown on images from the card maker's website. Also the card images (with very very few and rare exceptions) must be a SCAN not a PHOTO of a card. I think it is mostly because of the image quality of scans vs photos.

captkirk42, I can add scans, have image permissions and already alevel 6 and have uploaded a lot of scans of sets I have so far.
What makes me think these sets had images from the Chaotic website is that some of the cards I have in hand don't match the images on here, and all the sites I can find with scans/pics of actual cards match the ones I have in hand, not the ones on here.
The printed cards had a lot of UER that Chaotic fixed in their "digital versions" but never printed a physical corrected version, and I believe the images that don't match images of physical cards or my cards on here are the corected digital versions... Like I said, I am going to try to complete my sets first so I can verify all the issues with physical cards in hand before submitting IR's, and can work on fixing each set at once as a whole set. Its really the Alliances Unraveled set hat seems to be a big mess here, and none of the Wiki Fan sites has a checklist for this set... I have Alliances Unraveled cards that are numbered 51/100 to 55/100, the a whole lot numbered XX/200, and a few numbered XX/222. In gaming, the number after the slash is suposed to be how many are in the set, and it seems like CHaotic changed their mind throughout making this set and never fixed their numbering... That, and Fan Wikis say there are actually 226 cards in this set... We have 225 listed, but I have about 10 to 15 cards that the name of the card is no where in the checklist, when I get home I can upload some scans as examples...
Either way, I am now addicted to these cards. The foil cards really pop in person, and the artwork is amazing. Rumors have it Chaotic is coming back in 2019.

I have no idea about these Chaotic cards, but I do have something to add to the convo. I really didn't want to call him out for it, but Walsh is a regular "points farmer". He takes lots of images from other sites and adds them here. I only have a problem with it when what he uploads is not accurate. There was another member that kept doing that too (putting mock-ups in as actual scans) but I haven't seen him doing it lately. I'll keep that name quiet unless it becomes a problem again. The sad thing as that both members are in the Top-10 in the Members List. I don't recall Nigel ever doing that, so I think his scans would be legit.

All of the cards I scanned i have had in my hand at one time or anorher. I used to get these for my niece and nephew from when my local Poundland had them in. They mostly had the tins, I didn't ever but booster packs. There are a few sets listed in the database but there could be more.

I'm glad you verified this, Nigel! Like I said before, I always thought your scans were legit.

I didn't want to start any drama or throw anyone under the bus... I am adding my cards and so far the only set I am having problems with is "Alliances Unraveled", which Nigel didn't add any cards to. That was the "last set" of the game, although some Fire and Storm packs that were to follow that set were given out... 10 cards got pre-released for that set ..
