Maybe I'm a stickler for details, but it bugs me to no end that Topps didn't appear to bother to match typefaces, logo sizes and positioning, etc to match up newer versions of older designs. Anyone know why they couldn't/didn't? As a graphic designer, I can recreate most of these cards down to the minutae in no time. Seems weird that Topps wouldn't go to that trouble. For example, font style and logo versioning on the 87s, fonts on the 93s, no full names on the 75s.
Ah well, back to counterfeiting an '06 Alex Gordon so my binder doesn't have a blank space...
