Finally got my pictures processed. The past week has been insane. 6 states, 8500 photos...and some really old cards! 

They had others from the set, but there was too much paper loss for me. Even though I could have easily afforded them, ($1 each) I just couldn't get past the paper loss. 

My third oldest card! 

$1 each for the complete* sets!

* The Storm set is missing the NNL bonus card. I only had one of the Cale cards- the store owner labeled them as playing cards! 

The big box cost me $3, and the small one $2.50. I only got 17 new cards out of them, unfortunately- 6 of them visible here. I did get several upgrades for damaged cards, though, so that's a good thing. I suspect the cards in the box have been in there a long while- the newest cards present inside either box was 1995-96. 

I also got some cards I can't ID that will be getting Mystery threads soon. 

Awesome stuff Billy! Thanks for sharing them with us. I love the vintage cards. I'd also love to see the Yarborough cards and any goodies from the NBA boxes.

The Cale cards are already posted here, although the name makes it hard to find. It's just listed as "Redline Racing Cale Yarborough" instead of My Life in Racing. 

I didn't take a picture of the cards I found in the box. I probably should for my upcoming post about them on Cardboard History. All the ones on the top excecpt for the Kobes and the Jordan from Collector's Choice on the far right are new for me. I knew the Jordan was going in- I've completed 1996-97 Collector's Choice.

What is that one card you wrote is your 3ed oldest card? It has a red stamp on it and the card has a horse-drawn wagon.

Awesome cards!  Those Lighthouses (T77 I think?) is a set that I want to put together at some point.  When I first began acquiring more vintage, I was on that high you spoke of.  I understand completely! 

They had more of the lighthouses, but money was tight. 

The third card is the 1889 stamp card...which, according to the back of the card, has over 1000 variations each. Oh no.
